So I got the ok from my landlord to get our driveway repaved. It has some pretty deep holes/cracks in it. Contacted a few guys and only one guy showed up to give a quote. The guy that came has a 10 star rating and very good reviews and is BBB approved. The driveway is approx 750 Square feet and he quoted $4400 to excavate and pave it again with asphalt. I have a feeling the landlord will not agree to the price so before he asks I would like to get a few more quotes. If you know someone that is good or can recommend, please let me know. Thanks

Thanks for the recommendations! We spent a few hours there yesterday and it was nice. Probably wouldnt camp there but great for day use Was a little bit windy and saw a quite a few people on the water with their parachutes (whatever they are called lol). No fish to be caught but saw tons of minnows (thousands literally) right at the shoreline. Its nice to have a park that charges only $6 and allows you to stay for upto 4 hours.Thank you Sibbald point and Ontario parks! Black river did look promising but like mentioned, it would probably be hard to find a access point since its surrounded by private properties.

Heading for a day trip to Sibbald point Provincial Park today just to check out the park. Wondering if there are any places close by besides the park where I can get the kids into a few fish. Feel free to PM me. thanks

I think that is the one I saw a few months ago, and beating myself up now for not getting it . I have my friend's impact that I will borrow until I find those on sale again. -

Thanks for the advice. I think for now I will go with the corded one. I will keep in mind what you mentioned when shopping for cordless. -

Thanks for the replies. Yes I saw it but wasn't sure so I didn't pick it up. For those interested, the one in the link posted above is at sears or erin mills town centre for $99.99 and it comes with 2 batteries. I am checking Canadian tire website for some cheap corded impact wrenches and I can't seem to find the ones that I usually see on sale at the store on the website. I will check the stores tomorrow and see what I can find. Thanks . -
http://www.sears.ca/product/craftsman-md-c3-192-volt-cordless-impact-driver-kit-with-led-light-17338/609-000437871-17338 This is on Sale at Sears close to me but since I have used mainly hand tools for work on my car, I have little experience buying power tools and Impact drivers. Can I use this for suspension work on on my car? Mainly to loosen suspension bolts and do seasonal tire changes? Is there an adapter that converts the head to be able to use with 3/8 sockets and 1/2 inch sockets? I did a quick search on Google and it seems people use Impact drivers for cars but unsure if its recommended. Thanks

what was the estimate? Parts cost and Labor costs? that should help determine if you are getting a fair price.

Honestly it might be easier to rent a Yukon XL/Suburban or a expedition Max. Tons of room in those trucks! if the space is still not enough, you can buy a cargo bag for cheap and throw it on top.

Wow almost as tall as you! still dreaming of my first fish half that size! Nice fish!

Great show! I thought team shimano would win easily but looking for perch for 7 hours has gotta be tough lol . I think swiss chalet also got to them lol. I feel team sask will win as well. All in all, one of the best shows I have ever watched! Any idea when it will be out on youtube? is it same day or is a there a wait?

Looking for info on Mcrae Provincial Park as well as Mara Provincial Park. We are looking to book campsites in one of these parks for 3 nights since we are going on a very busy weekend (2nd weekend of July) and these 2 campgrounds have good amount of vacancy currently. Both are rated at 3.5 stars on tripdvisor, not the best but beggers can't be choosers lol. They seem to be family oriented according to the reviews and that is what we are looking for. Also would like to know which park would be better for some shore fishing where I can just throw a pickeral rig with some minnows and leave it there. Any fishing is fine to be honest as long as the kids have fun. Any reason we should avoid these parks or any one in particular? Thanks in advance!

Where is the ending lol? I would be scared to stand that close to the edge. A sudden burst of energy from that fish and she would have flown off the edge

congrats! looks like a fun project!
