I hope they realize this. I am happy to see them winning despite their usual players not getting the goals and points. i also hope they can give Montoya a little more support after the last 2 losses with him back there.

Beautiful Scenery, beautiful fish, and great photos.

You are right. Probably not the right pieces, but if they stay consistent, they can go far. Main thing is Price has to healthy, and goal scoring has to be there in the playoffs, otherwise its a one man team.
-
I Believe the same about Price. I like his humility most of all. I hope he stays healthy this year and wish the team in front continues to play like they did in October. Its about time they win the cup. they have all the pieces in place.

costco sells the good stuff! you pay good money for the stuff too lol -
I Agree. Not to defend Emelin, but the hit was a light tap. Even Don Cherry said JVR put himself in the position to get hit. on a positive note, the leafs are looking a little more dangerous this year. fun to watch the new young guys.

Tesla has the model 3 coming out next year. I believe people camped out (similar to US thanksgiving day lineups) at the Tesla Showrooms when they annouced the first day of sales. the price starts at 35k USD. If there is one I would seriously look into for the price, It would be that one.

My friend drove his from Mississauga to Algonquin. He had to recharge in Huntsville. Lucky for him Huntsville has a supercharger. I believe the bigger cities have the superchargers already. Supposedly takes 45 mins for a full charge. Model X range is around 300 kms per charge I believe based on how you drive. I agree with you on the range anxiety part!

So I bumped into a friend of mine at a dinner event last week. I found out prior to that that he had bought a Model X (7 seater) and we talked about the car for some time. finally he asked me if I would like to take it for a spin and I am glad he did. I am not that into speed, but love having something with a little bit of power. He told me to step on it and wow!!! This thing is fast! Faster than anything I have driven in the past. We finally get on the highway and he tells me to put on the autopilot. I must say it was freaky in the beginning since you see the steering moving like its possessed, changing lanes on a dime. The interior was very spacious and comfortable. The ride was very comfortable and handling was pretty impressive for a big car. All in all, I was sold on it. But for now I will stick to my Volvo until I win the lottery lol.

Wish I could drive out that far. Good luck to you guys! I will be checking out other zones after today where walleye are still open.

Chris, the house we are currently renting has a wood burning fireplace and we use quite a bit. It is in the coldest room of the house which is the family room above the garage. I must say, it warms up the room quite well and does it quick despite the ceiling being 11 feet high! Can't beat the sound of crackling wood and the natural heat.

I think 265 to 215 is a big difference for a vehicle the size of a jeep cherokee. My opinion would be to sell the compass rims/tire combo and buy a proper set for the cherokee. You will be spending money taking the tires off the rims and mounting on new rims. Might as well put that money towards something that will fit, perform and look better.

I would get a second opinion if you are concerned. the whole package pads and rotors should not cost more than $600 for the good stuff. labour maybe a few hours. Personally If there is 35% left, i would replace them in the summer. buy the pads and sand the current rotors.

Is there any issue with it? Brakes feel weird? What do they do in routine service? I may be wrong, but how can they tell without taking the brakes apart that the sliders have seized?
-
I'm curious how this will effect people who want to travel down south to visit friends and family?
-
Might want to try unplugging it for some time in case you haven't already tried. My house was hit by lightning a few months ago and the garage door stopped working. We unplugged it from the wall and re-plugged it and it started working.

Thanks for the replies. So I got out this morning and there weren't as many there as a few days ago. I am sure they are there but spread out. The only Pike that was there didn't go for the dead sucker. I will try the husky jerk next time. I do have one which I believe is the blue and orange one. I think it is HJ12. I did get a few 5-6 lb bass take a good look at the sucker, but I am sure they saw the steel leader. On a positive note, as soon as the bass showed up, so did a group of Special Needs folks who were asking if there were any fish around. They were delighted when I showed them the 2 monster bass swimming about. Hopefully that made their morning

I recently discovered some pike at a marina at the tail end of my weekly fishing routine, so I decided to throw a crankbait in the water. I reeled it in so it stopped in front of the pike and it decided to take a close look at it. I am pretty sure it gave it a nudge too, then decided to turn around. I cast again and it decided to inspect it for a second time but no bite.It probably wanted something tastier lol. I didnt have time to experiment with other baits, although I did try a green/silver little cleo and didnt get any follows. I pulled out some frozen sucker minnows from the freezer and plan on using that under a float next time. I have wire leader in my tackle box but not sure if I should go with that or go with heavy 30 lb mono line, or straight braid? Any other tips? I have been hunting for local pike for a while and finally found them. Would like to hook into one at least before they disappear lol. Thanks!
