i was waiting forever for the colorado diesel, and then the ram eco diesel came along and i decided that for the price it was better to go with a full size truck...no problems yet after 35,000km *knock on wood* I dont regret getting a ram eco diesel for a second...the price, look, mileage, entertainment system, drive feel and performance have all been incredible thus far...maybe ill eat my words when the thing starts falling apart prematurely but so far so good!

back out even further for those smallies...ive been getting them between 15 and 35 FOW! if its morning and low light you can find them shallow, but they are definitely moving out. lakes been absolutely on fire the past few weeks, 17 smallies boated in a morning on sunday, the sunday before i had 17lbs in 2 hours. hmmm fishing walleyes during the day in the dead of summer is always gonna be a tougher bite. but my accidental catches of walleye on those lakes tells me that its a pretty decent fishery.

a little personal story about grandkids... I caught a severe bout of food poisoning earlier this year and was on day 2 of 3 of literally living a life of upchucking and passing out just barely managing to stay hydrated. I was staying at my parents house and my mom came to check up on me and i asked for her to possibly bring me some plain crackers to try get some food back into my system. She brought me some old-garbage stale crackers and said "thats all ive got sorry" i eat them reluctantly...a day later i emerge from my room mustering the strength to make it to the kitchen i look for more crackers and what do i see but a brand new box of cheese nips...i ask my mom what the hell is this? i thought you said we had no crackers?! you made me eat those disgusting ones! her reply "those are for the grandkids"

wasnt meant as a negative dan! i just feel like to get anyone to fix anything these days it costs half of what a brand new one costs...its crazy. I hope these guys help you out.

this is exactly what I was trying to get at...my lingo may be a bit wrong im not a battery/wiring expert. I wasnt sure if you could charge your two 12v batteries for the trolling motor as a 24v system by placing them in series. I have my answer, you can indeed do this....i guess the downfall is that the charging time would literally be doubled compared to running them parallel. Bill do you connect a bank to your starting motor at all or simply one to the troller batteries and one to the electronics exclusive battery?

a close friend bought some crank baits and top waters from them, they looked pretty good but the quality was absolute garbage.

im trying to confirm my understanding, but if you are running a 24v trolling motor set up you would require a 3 bank minimum because the two trolling motor batteries wont charge in sequence. Then your third bank is for your starting motor correct?

i feel like a replacement prop on a boat that size would cost nearly the same to get one repaired. I recently picked up a prop for $110 shipped out of the states

like most things in life, they are what you make of them. Christmas can be crap if you make it that way....hell i know people that can have a bad time fishing!

we went for a quick peak as it started, its friggin cool...weve got the glasses. Ive never looked at the sun before...it was neat enough to just do that.
