true Muskie fisherman have no need for a livewell... as the fish swims away. once again.. a large cooler and aerator will fit a large pike. G

Lake Ontario is a pretty vast lake..... I hardly doubt saying it came from lake ontario or lake erie for that matter means anything... hardly a hot spot. G

Well I gave Cabela's a call as my order is still showing as pending... they said orders to Canada take 14-21 days! is this normal for Cabelas? Wish I would have known that earlier, but their website does not give time frames for Canadian Orders.... G

stoty, we would set up a meeting and discuss our wants and give you an idea as to what we are looking for.. you then give us a fixed price for the work minus any extras. the recurring work would be done on an hourly basis. G

I figured I would begin my search here knowing the pool of talent on OFC..... Our firm is looking for a talented individual to help us in developing our corporate identity on the web. As we are published in more and more magazines and build relationships with the hottest up and coming architects this is a requirement. a bit of background We are a celebrated high end custom home builder in the GTA. Our homes are extremely modern in design and function. The site would need to reflect this. We are looking for something completely custom... so No Templates. We are not looking for a run of the mill site.. Alot of content will be added to the site from our various projects to establish a virtual portfolio. The designer we pick will have to be proficient in the most popular programming languages used today.. Simple knowledge of HTML or CSS will not do.. A Graphic Design background would certainly be desirable. As well as Photography skills The designer would also have recurring work as more and more projects are completed. G

welcome back Rick..... sucks when a company screws you over for sure!.... now be sure you let EVERYONE know never to deal with that outfit... and you have your revenge! it might be small at first... but little by little in the end you have saved your friends and family ALOT of grief... word of mouth is can be a killer... tell one person they tell 10... those 10 tell 10 more... eventually their pocket book feels it... all it takes is to screw over one person.... that is the beauty of the internet... reach the masses instantly.. might I suggest a website? consumerist.com get the word out there (this is a massive pro-comsumer blog)... prevent others from having to deal with your same experiences.. It is not a rant or being a complainer when you have a legitimate reason to speak negative about a company when you have been wronged. I wish you all the best Rick... and welcome home.. and thank you for telling me about first national... I will be sure to NOT include them in my options when my mortgage comes up for renewal. G

Need Advice - where to find info on boat prices
Gerritt replied to Dutch's topic in General Discussion
not sure about a blue book for boats... But I know of a decent site that has tons of boats for sale... mostly in the US. Might find something there at a fair price? Walleyecentral.com Also... it would not hurt to PM Bernie His sales guy Larry is tops! great guy and honest. G Found this on the link I provided you... 2000 Lund 1700 Pro Sport / 90 hp Johnson Little used Lund fish and ski boat in excellent condition. Spartan roller trailer with new radial tires and spare tire. Eagle fish finder, minnkota 55# powerdrive bow trolling motor, new sealed batteries last year, extra prop, two livewells, Lund top set, Lund travel cover and lots of storage compartments. Always kept in garage. Buy a like new Lund for less than half the price of a 2008. $12,500 OBO Nice pictures of it too... -
Should be fairly simple if you have a volt metre.. apply voltage to the various pins on the trailers plug... attach volt metre to the light in question.. this should give you an answer as to what wire had the issue volt metre can be had cheap... I am sure your electrician friend has one.... remove the bulbs however.. Dont see why this wont work... G
-
I know I had the same issue. I was pulling my hair out as the trailer was brand new... turns out it was the plug on my truck that was the culprit.. on of the wires had some of the insulation missing.... yup corroded to the point that it broke.. Just pointing this out as the trailer is not always the issue.. G
-
cooler with an aerator would work in a pinch... G
-
I will be working on my boat.... I have a floor that needs to be put in and vinyled, I have speaker lines that need to be ran, and a Fishfinder to install... Should keep me busy.. G
-
Hahahahha Mr. Perfect!!! now that brings back memories! some interesting threads back then! G
-
my opinion here... but you have a nephew that looks up to you and obviously adores you... family is family... and they come first in my opinion.. You will do what you will do... and it look like you already have pretty much made your mind up... But does you nephew need a male role model? that would be my concern being an uncle myself.. G

Bit of a sore back, pinched nerve in the elbow, mess up pinky..
Gerritt replied to dsn's topic in General Discussion
Yup get that hand checked out! do you experience pain at all? if so it could be alot more serious then a pinched nerve... I had something similar only to discover I had shattered my wrist and did not know it... I knew I had pain and my fingers were wonky... surgery, bone graft, screws and a plate.... my wrist is back together... all because m fingers went weird and I had busted bones in my wrist.... it took a CT scan to find the breaks... alot of little bones in the wrist... If you have any pain in the wrist... please please please get it looked at... G
