I would like to think most people that visit our forum are honest fishermen... and trust me a poacher would not last long here.. That said... I see nothing wrong with that type of post... us as fishermen are interested in fish behaviour as well as fishing for them... if a poacher is going to poach... it is unlikely he would seek his info out here... as he would do it regardless of what we say.. Hands down.... Back bays on GB.... But many lakes have them... but I have seen 95% of my Gar pike on GB Yarn lures work well. Hope this helps. G

Look for drop offs and humps a Hydrographic map will help you here.., jig and a worm and your off to the race for the Pickeral.. as for the Muskie hit the weed edges in bays and around islands.. Many will chime in here I am sure... Be sure to post a report and remember we enjoy pictures! Gerritt.

I am not sure if they still have some.... But I know All-americanoutdoors.com had the Shimano Stradic FH on for 95.00 they were blowing them out... the FI's are 129.00 They seem to have the best price I have seen... about 60.00 less then the competition Hard to Beat the Stradic. G

Good info provided so far... if for some reason you need to pull start it.. there is usually a tab that needs to be turned in order to open the choke. I know mine is red in colour also if you have a electric trolling motor on the boat you can also start the engine using that battery if need be... G

Because the centre pin elitist morons would protest parliament hill threatening hunger strikes.... and the liberal idiots in the GTA would listen to their plight.. I like steelhead fishing... but these morons make it alot less appealing.. they prefer to fish and pose as if they were on the cover of a magazine.. where as I prefer to fish for fish.. As of late the mods of this site have been conscious of this.... and I applaud it... Hence the reason you will not see a steelhead post from me... I learned my lesson two years ago from a member on this board..... since then not a friggen chance would I post a steelhead report.. it is just not worth it... Yet.. he posts about his exploits and you all love him for it... He knows who he is..... so I choose to keep my adventures to myself because of this person and those that are like minded, of which there are many I inform those that are like minded as me, and we share info via PM.. I might share the odd picture or two on the board though.. Overall though unless it is a group trip I tend to keep things to myself as I do not need the hassles from the year round steelheaders I know that spot, your holding the fish wrong, why did you not edit out the background now millions will be there..... etc etc etc etc.. unfortunately many feel the same.. it never used to be like this.. I fish for fish... others fish for internet steelhead forum glory.... enjoy it boys. G

Glen... perhaps we should move this into PM? But I fail to see how this is a bad thing.... The signatures are smaller so it is beneficial to the "less fortunates" infact they are smaller in KB's then the banner ads @ the top of the page making it beneficial to the dial up users. I know what you are saying Dawg... 500x75 = 37500 total pixels 200x161= 32200 Total pixels. The idea about setting a size restriction on banners, is to reduce their size for dialup users.... The banners are smaller in total pixel counts and 1/10 of the size of the 100kb rule... Sure the banner is square instead of a rectangle.. but would you prefer a rectangle @ 99.9kb? or a square @ 7kb There is also a lowfi version of this site available for those on ultra slow dialup
