Well I did the brakes and did not wind up with any extra parts! It was pretty straight forward, I had a neighbour help me as he had the proper greases etc it got interesting though..... I removed the rotor only to have the emergency shoes fall apart in my hands..... Great..... Off to the parts shop for new shoes and the hardware kit... tested the E-Brakes.. one side works properly... on the drivers side the cable is seized... ARGH... I manually released the shoes... and will be leaving the cable be till next week, I just wont use the E-Brake... I never do anyways unless on a ramp... So I will replace the cable on both sides just to be safe.. So it looks like the E-Brakes were in contact with the rotor the last time I used it... and therefor the reason they fell apart... and possibly warped my rotors due to the heat generated.. I still have a slight pulsating when braking so it looks as though the front will require attention as well in the near future.... but fixing the rears certainly resolved 95% of the pulsating.. I would like to thank everyone for their advice and PM's I wound up with top of the line Raybestos pads... cost $68.00 and the rotors cost 35.00, New Raybestos e-brake shoes were 60.00 and the hardware kit was 25.00.. Learning to do a brake job... Priceless! I learned alot today working on the truck... now to get that E-Cable fixed.. G

I work in the GTA and travel almost daily to downtown Toronto.... it is safe to assume traffic is going to be a nightmare... So much for the 48 hours notice PROMISED they would give riders... They stranded thousands on a friday night... If they thought they were abused before.... I would hate to see how they are viewed now. How will you in the GTA cope during this? How will those that commute to work cope with the thousands of more vehicles on the highways... My personal opinion? Dalton McGuinty should have been involved long ago! now they are scrambling to have an emergency session of Parliament scheduled for tomorrow, trying to declare the TTC as an essential service. but doing this has a consequence.. as EVERY OTHER public transportation service in various Ontario cities will also wind up being declared essential... then what role will the union play? cant strike.. work to rule? and if the unions break up then who is protecting the members interests... I feel they are shooting themselves in the foot.. I see dark days ahead for public transport... G

FnA Thank you for protecting our resources!! I appreciate it as I am sure many others do!! While I am not in service, I know they rib each other as I am friends with alot of officers. seems some folks here dislike officers.. Not sure why really unless you are doing something against the law, or have in the past and had to deal with an officer... G

Dan... I too am one of the lucky ones.. My Gas expenses are paid for by my employer... if they weren't there is no way I would be working in Vaughan! I am also a tier1 407 user (also taken care of by my employer) so I save 9 cents a litre on my non work fuel purchases... G

Andrew.... they (fr**cr*ditr*port.c*m) are a joke ... I have read about them on Multiple sites... they are a scam I hope you did not give CC info.... Having said that... Google ads are delivered by words mentioned here... it is called ad-sense.. you mentioning keywords such as you have above cred*t, equif*x, rep*rt etc etc etc are what generate these ads.... Ad-Sense banners are not generated by OFC...they are generated by the content of the posts... Each time a user clicks one however... OFC is paid a few cents. Hope this clears up any confusion about the google ads your seeing. If I remember correctly OFC admin can control the type of ads shown.... and the one you mention is a scam. Just type fr**cr*ditrep*t.com scam into google..... replace the *'s ofcourse. and you will learn their evil ways... G
