  2. Five star collision in Grimsby
  3. Congrads! You will have a great time I am sure!
  4. Darn Yankee!
  5. Your driveway, with the right advice. I wouldn't know where to go in Ottawa at all.
  6. Guys, I have spent two days with Holdfast in close quarters and feel that he is a good guy. However, he does not take any guff, and deservedly so, as he has taken more guff than most of us have had. Don't forget he has served overseas in some pretty nasty situations, and it is only by grace that he hasn't taken the somber trip from Trenton to Toronto.
  7. As Karl said, blue fin tuna will make a boy out of a man. I have heard first hand of fights that last over 24 hours!
  8. Thanks again, I really enjoyed the vicarious experience.
  9. I opened this looking for a pic to fill my screen, all the pics are the same size.....what gives? So much for the huge fish pic. . That is a nice sized fish in the pic though...
  10. I would suggest that you get a Garmin, I have two and they are invaluable to be. A 250nuvi w should be less than 200 bucks now.
  11. Nice job! The hex nuts are for adjusting the height, right? If so, why not weld a "T" handle on them to make it easier to loosen and tighten in the field?
  12. We know who to blame for April's snow storm now.
  13. You have a remarkable grasp of the obvious!
  14. Here is a link to the news story: http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_32911.aspx
  15. How do I unseize a steering cable on a rack and pinion steering system? I have had it apart, and the rack and pinion move freely, but the cable does not. There is a grease fitting on the cable housing that will not accept grease, it will be replaced soon. Any ideas??
  16. *yawn* I am
  17. The citica is a great reel for the money! I agree that a 6'6" M-MH rod would be a good all purpose rod for now, however when the baitcasting bug hits you may find yourself owning a rod and reel for many different applications. The BPS extreme series is a nice match to that reel. Good luck with the purchase!
  18. Congrads, now you get to worry about important things. It has been 18 years 11 months two weeks for me, and my oldest just bought a house. Just as an aside, mine were cuter.
  19. Did you know that when you have a hook on a line with a sinker, and a worm impaled on the hook, a fish will sometimes bite it? Some of that priceless info... But yes Doug is right, this is a great spot!
  20. If you have found the boat of your dreams, taken it for a sea trial, and it seems like the boat for you; then pay a marine mechanic 70 - 100 buck to look it over for you. When you buy a house you get a home inspection, when you buy a boat get it inspected because if you breakdown in the middle of Erie, you might not make it home. Just my two cents. Good luck with the search, if I run across anthing I'll let you know.
  21. To the lake and back in 8 seconds

However, regardless of how generously proportioned TJ is, the growth on his face is a great distraction from the fact that he is nudging you from 2 feet away. (please don't kick me off the board.......)
  23. Then three weeks later you have to winterize it again....
  24. Take the ferry to Toronto Islands and cast the internal ponds.
  25. Ya know, IF I liked baseball hats and marketing mail in would send a letter from BRANTFORD. Now if it was a Tilley I'd be all over it.
