  1. I put my inflatable on at the same time as I put the plug in the boat. It doesn't come off until I cinch down the stern.
  2. Why not use a piece of 2 x 4 glued on with PL Premium. Not as pretty but it works....
  3. Ask Speil, Garry don't know nutin about rods.......or fishin. We ARE gettin together next week right? Please????
  4. Your second question is well answered already. Boat listing is when the boat leans to one side or the other, due to weight distribution or other reasons.
  5. Have chainsaw, will travel.
  6. As the mastercard ad says............PRICELESS!!!!!!!
  7. The repair went very well, thanks! Cliff is a good man. If I had a wireless bowmount it would be better than the footpedal, however I have to plead poverty and as my mother used to sy, "Sometimes, you just have to row with the oars you got".
  8. I pray the docs hands are guided and the surgery is succesful. Keep your chin up!

  10. As Blaque says, it works quite well, and is a lot easier on the wallet too. Also if you are trolling for pickeral one wants to go slow, right?
  11. I was taught a new trolling method this weekend. Instead of steering with the electric, simply leave the electric stationary and steer with the tiller, using it as a rudder. I was very happy to learn this as I was having just the worst time trying to steer with the bowmount. If this just basic stuff to you, are there any other methods of boat control that we inexperiened boaters can learn from you?
  12. Y'all got my vote

  14. Well, before I became a carpenter I dabbled in the flower industry. When I was married, my wife carried one of my designs. **Did you offer 'him' the $100 and a ladder? Congratulations** No, but I am planning on getting him a shotgun.
  15. Well, tonight my oldest daughter came home with a new piece of jewlery on her left hand...........an engagement ring! The man she is going to marry has already passed muster, and he was the type to ask me first, which is a good thing. She asked me to do her wedding bouquet, that made me cry even more. It is hard to give up your first born daughter, but he makes her happy and that is what counts.
  16. I'm in
  17. Well MY Canadian was drunk by my future son in law.....
  18. I would sugest that you give your insurance company a call. Judging from the pics, you probably have ~ 3000 - 5000 worth of damage when you factor in the restoration work.
  19. 133 eyeballs and no-one says thanks? Thanks for the info steve!
  20. How do I rig for lakers, the only thing I have for depth is a dipsy diver #1 (the middle size) in silver. What should I pull, and will my 10'6" shimano convergenge be the right rod to use? Speed, depth and other info requested I will be fishing Manatulin Lake.
  21. Thanks for the link. I felt I was quite clear as to what I was driving and pulling, however I will find out upon arrival what the fare will actually be. No biggie, we're doing it regardless.
  22. I stand by my estimate of the fee as I got that straight from the ferry's contact line. We have extended our stay on the island in order to justify the added expense of the ferry ride. We are driving back.
  23. Valens may be another spot to consider. As well, there are private campgrounds to consider.
  24. Amazingly enough, we have decided to go afterall. Confirmed reservations and everything. Now the only challenge is getting the family up on time for a 7 am sailing. Should be fun!
