  1. Thanks for the commiseration guys, my bro-in-law is a pilot and he has has his for ~20 years with out a problem. That is why this is so frustrating for me. I do have a contact number for B & L now, so i will call them and see what can be done.
  2. It is the first site in your favorites that you go to and read, 'cause ya never know.... we have our own resident rednecks, one Canadian, an' one from "Bama We don't need a "stirrin' the pot" emoticon, "cause everyone knows when it is being done. The only site I know of with its' own ANTHEM, (Thanks Cliff!) One of the few sites that accepts you as you are and (usually) doesn't toss you out.
  3. I bought a pair of Raybans 2.5 - 3 years ago, thinking that if I am going to pay over 250 dollars, I should get sonething good that will last me the rest of my life. Well, last Saturday the arm fell off. No warrantee, and replacement parts are $88.00 I went the web site, no contact information at all just selling. Not that impressed with the customer service. These were NOT abused at all, used for driving and fishing. So now I am going to have to get a new pair, they will not be Rayban. End Rant.
  4. I think Dave Mercer works for Subway.....
  5. That's what i was gonna say, get someone else to do it.....
  6. If they are planted on your side of the property line, no problem, however the neighbour can trim those cedars branches up to the property line. Makes for a funny looking hedge. I say, move to the couintry where we dont have these disputes.
  7. Or as Someone else said, "let he who is without sin, cast the first stone" Well said sir! I have yet to have a day where I have not made a mistkae.
  8. Don't listen to his fishing advice, , but do listen to what the man has to say about your new line of work, he knows of what it is he speaks! And he's OK company as well!
  9. Don't mess with the Ugli! Well done!

Say, you don't get down this way very often do you??? I know of a boat that would be nice to get brought down here.....
  11. When you find the boat you want you need to give US customs the VIN and Hull numbers 72 hours before crossing and they check for you.
  12. I can see by the poll results that there are a lot of bargin hunters here. I would put that as equipped around 6-6500.
  13. You also need a digital antenna, availble at Nuetech electronics in Hamilton.
  14. I am sure that if you were to start a thread regarding this question you would get a great response....
  15. Judging by GRT1's avatar i would say Gull rock lake, that is about 2000 km from hamilton. North of Thunder Bay
  16. I am so glad you said beware and not be bebare...
  17. Working fine now! Thanks irish!
  18. I agree, perhaps pulling the carb and soaking it overnight or a day or two in carb cleaner will help.
  19. What happened to the PM popup? I find that to be a useful feature. I had some PM's that I missed because I did not notice the indicator at the top of the page.
  20. Na, it is my brothers shop. Where you work will know of him.
  21. Do I have to keep the wrap on it? People are goung to mistake me as someone with a sense of humour...
  22. The reason I want to flip it upside down is because the repair work to the underside is quite extensive, I need to prep it for refinishing. The hull is stripped down to nothing on it except for the steering cables. The intent is to lift it, flip it, and then place back on the trailer, (on custom made stands) so that I can transport it to the refinishing shop after the prep work is done. Then I need to prep the top cap and refinish that.
  23. You should sell those pics to the Toronto star
  24. Any suggestions as to how I can flip a 1400 pound 18' bass boat? I need to put it upside down to do some repairs.
  25. Before the discouraging words start, keep up the good work, and do not let the naysayers on the board bring ya down. I would suggest that the seats are a part of the structure of the hull. They need to be in the boat to maintain the ridgity of the hull in rough water. How are you planning to address that?
