Say, you don't get down this way very often do you??? I know of a boat that would be nice to get brought down here.....
  2. When you find the boat you want you need to give US customs the VIN and Hull numbers 72 hours before crossing and they check for you.
  3. I can see by the poll results that there are a lot of bargin hunters here. I would put that as equipped around 6-6500.
  4. You also need a digital antenna, availble at Nuetech electronics in Hamilton.
  5. I am sure that if you were to start a thread regarding this question you would get a great response....
  6. Judging by GRT1's avatar i would say Gull rock lake, that is about 2000 km from hamilton. North of Thunder Bay
  7. I am so glad you said beware and not be bebare...
  8. Working fine now! Thanks irish!
  9. I agree, perhaps pulling the carb and soaking it overnight or a day or two in carb cleaner will help.
  10. What happened to the PM popup? I find that to be a useful feature. I had some PM's that I missed because I did not notice the indicator at the top of the page.
  11. Na, it is my brothers shop. Where you work will know of him.
  12. Do I have to keep the wrap on it? People are goung to mistake me as someone with a sense of humour...
  13. The reason I want to flip it upside down is because the repair work to the underside is quite extensive, I need to prep it for refinishing. The hull is stripped down to nothing on it except for the steering cables. The intent is to lift it, flip it, and then place back on the trailer, (on custom made stands) so that I can transport it to the refinishing shop after the prep work is done. Then I need to prep the top cap and refinish that.
  14. You should sell those pics to the Toronto star
  15. Any suggestions as to how I can flip a 1400 pound 18' bass boat? I need to put it upside down to do some repairs.
  16. Before the discouraging words start, keep up the good work, and do not let the naysayers on the board bring ya down. I would suggest that the seats are a part of the structure of the hull. They need to be in the boat to maintain the ridgity of the hull in rough water. How are you planning to address that?
  17. Sounds like Gerrits got nothin to go on....Give me a pm with yur address and I'll stop by.
  18. I though TJ had hung some lures from a branch, and put over his bed.....Think it through.
  19. Looks Yummy!
  20. Oh, look a parade......let's rain on it Heck of a nice fish!
  21. http://mongers.org/jokes/black_adder_fourth Found it!
  22. Try PA plastics in Hamilton. http://www.paplastics.com/
  23. It is possible that the bearings may just need a good cleaning and lube job. Perhaps look at that before spending the money on new bearings
  24. Buy the best you can afford. If you have too many cranking amps, that is not a bad thing, IMHO, a gelcell battery may be a very good option to look at
