  1. without being there myself to look it over it's hard to say, try putting a vacuum guage on it a jumped chain will give you a low steady reading. when is it popping? idle acceleration cruising my expierence with the fords is when no codes are showing up and performance issues arise good chance you plugged up a catalytic convertor
  2. great job sturgeon wa a little slower but that 7-10 ft depth was the same and the worse it blew the better the bite
  3. always looked up to the man and nothing has changed byr mr/sshelby and thank you
  4. Darlington in fact anyone else think Stewart has a chance at this one, he's never won here would be nice to see but still routing for junior
  5. if i have learned anything about boats and snowmobiles is that nothing is ever ready when it's promised. nobody likes to wait and it's a match made in heaven for a yamaha and a lund
  6. yes the agm are great, I sell em, made by east penn can be deks or powersurge but as good as even the regular batterys are cannot even begin to compete with costco pricing a 27 series deep cycle i add 10 bux to my cost still have to sell it for $125
  7. way to man up i am sure everyone appreciates your conviction and passion for the sport just we all get carried away sometimes
  8. something to compare to, I use powersurge battery's made by east penn battery also deka and diehard lines i have been happy with them but i pulled the spec sheet out for you guys to compare. 12v deep cycle 27dc 575 cca 200 reserve min 12v dual purpose 27dp 650cca 175 reserve min
  9. that a great price for a 27 series battery, my cost from my battery supplier is way above that for a 27 series dc
  10. It's time to do mine as well knowing its a full day job, to wet sand cut and polish 20 year old flake but it's worth it when i am done also go through a couple bottles of bass boat saver during the year to protect the old girl from uv rays
  11. I was there sunday at ctc found the 1/32 oz jig heads i needed, but the selection is huge for a ct they even had lowrance hds fisfinders the "7" was $999 don't now what the market price is on them, but while i was there got milk, water filters and cat food. still prefer kawartha bait and tackle for most things just happened to be at ct
  12. well I got most of the truck done cliff, just have to spray the door and align the headlights, take care of that tomorrow,
  13. When I seen the title I thought F150's were on sale again
  14. check your kill switch, common enough issue when they sit. where you located there are much better service centres than bps, if anything try top gun marine only another 30 min north and you get a real expert to look at the boat. if your near lindsay i would look at it for free for an OFC a 40 hp isn't to bad to work on, though it does sound like you flooded it, have you tried cranking it over with the choke off anf wot to clear it
  15. yup all 25 lbs of it, came flying out of the bush straight at me while i was doing 70km/h, needless to say cajun rub and slow baked was tasty but the insurance estimate is 5g for repairs i figure that bird was $200/lb
  16. went truck hunting end of march
  17. take a look at your invoice again if I pay 120 for a caliper i am also charged an extra 60 as a core charge that is not something the customer pays for, it is a way for the rebuilders to get there parts back so i am paying 180 for the caliper up front and get my credit back when my supplier picks up the core. flat rate system everyone rabid dogs when i beat the book but yet to see anyone offer to pay more when i don't thats how the trades work
  18. check your menu settings, and play around, also being a couple years old it may not have the fine detail for that area, you can update the chip through the navionics site, i know it was free for the first year with my hot maps and platinum + chips
  19. you can always try the piers around couch and simcoe lots of perch to be had, same as lake o can catch just about anything there, and as a easy one several dozen worms and duffins/lynde/marsh darlington.oshawa/whitby harbours circle hooks and catch bullheads to your hearts content
  20. ypu can play with the contour settings, also as you zoom in greater detail is shown
  21. yup for sure everyone has a cheapy line these days, i put the tournament series of rules in my boat but the series # i forget
  22. No but if bring your car in and check it for fitment at yuor request your paying pretty simple, my time is money. Pretty sure I know What Iam doing and it isn't for free
  23. X2 on the rule pumps, one they are the most reliable i have found and when they do burn out you can just replace a motor cartridge as opposed to replumbing everything, repladed my mayfair 500gph pumps 4 years ago with rule 800 and have worked great since, the seasense bilge i put in lasted two years pos, will get my local marina to order my a rule for that as well
