  1. Watch out for those Quebecers... they aint Canadian!
  2. Ya knucklehead!!!
  3. Slackard!!! I think you could get more fishin' in than that if you really wanted to! Ol' Yeller informed me she would like to go fishin' this weekend, so I'll be takin' her out for Crappie and maybe a little Striper trolling with the Bimini top up. She turns into a tomatoe in the sun doncha know.
  4. Unless you're a minority... I'd just like to say to everyone that has condemmed the actions by this facility... the next time your order is screwed up or you recieve bad customer service at a Tim Hortons... think of this thread.
  5. You and me both Stoty!!! They're prolly thieves too, and pounding the snot out of them would be a pleasure!!!
  6. I Hate When That Happens!!! ... but it's the price you pay for good and great days passed.
  7. I told y'all it was hard to fire them!!!
  8. Just because a person is a single parent of 1-howevermany doesn't entitle them to a job or a paycheck!... Funny thing about being at the bottom of the ladder, your superiors expect you to work! The article stated that this person had been working there for 3 yrs., of which 2 yrs. 11 mo. and 3 weeks may have been used to document for their dismissal. The larger the corporation the harder it is to terminate lower level minorities (women in the workplace are considered a minority in the U.S.)... Upper level white males can be terminated on a whim however! Before this article came out, this thread could've been used for a customer service poll for Tim Hortons... what kind of marks do you think they would've gotten?... has any body besides Beans gotten a messed up order?... how about the cashier chatting with a friend/customer at the register while others wait behind during busy hours? The newspaper article is extremely onesided and if the reporter had stopped and thought about what it actually takes to terminate someone these days, it would've never been written.
  9. It didn't say she was working the drive thru, It sounds more like they were inside the store to me. In Reality Being in management, I know how hard it is to terminate employee's these days. There's a lot of paperwork and documentation that has to go along with it. Terminating a non productive or problem employee can be frustrating and doesn't happen overnight. With 3 managers present, I'm sure they've done their homework. Do you think Tim Hortons is terminating their good help? How bad of an employee would you have to be to get fired from a Timmies???
  10. That'll teach 'em!!!
  11. I'd use it for larger fish in heavy cover... or Bluegills, I catch BIG Bluegills.
  12. We may need to know what the question is before we know if we can help or not.
  13. It could be considered a choking hazard to a very small child, and probably opens a huge can of liability worms because it was given to the infant by a Hortons employee instead of being purchased by the parent and then given to the child.
  14. Some large company's have very strict policies about giving product away... they'd rather throw it away than give it away. She should've paid for the product out of her own pocket. Babies shouldn't be eating that greasy crap anyway... maybe the managers were just looking after the childs health.
  15. Somebody lied to you!
  16. Wouldn't you just love to catch the turds that stole your boat and beat the livin' snot out of them? I hate thieves too!!!
  17. On second look... looks more like a Garbage Scow.
  18. Not me... ... I wouldn't be caught dead in a tiller in Alabama!!!
  19. That there is some fine Catfish chum!!!
  20. Sleep apnea is typical for the overweight and out of shape... I know you don't want to hear it, but it is the bitter truth. I had it when I was overweight and out of shape... get a diet (low fat) and an exercise program and you will feel much better and be able to sleep like a baby.
  21. I'd go bigger even if I had to make other storage arrangements... 2 feet in length makes a world of difference when out on the lake all day, not to mention additional passengers and gear!
  22. Thats the way my system is set up as well, it came from the factory like that... pretty much the standard for the industry.
  23. 2 Americans and one Canadian that's too skeered to speak in there now...
  24. Great going Matt!!! Those things are hard to hook with an actual hook and not a frayed piece of nylon... and believe it or not, are edible... but you dang near need a chainsaw to clean one!!! ... btw... where's the Sauger pics???
