I am in shock right now .... just learned that the guy that died is my neighbor , I've known him for many years ... I just can't believe it ..... very very sad ...... my sincere condolences to his wife and 3 boys and extended family .......
Looks awesome Simon, ive done Ling before but not like that ... will try this one for sure ...
Great that you are getting Jack interested in cooking too ...
Fishing videos and cooking videos ... what else ?
the outposts look very intriguing and looks first class ... i like the fact that it is driveable within a day ...
does the out fitter take care of the fishing licenses for the week ... ?
I don't think its just the Goaltending ... Freddie has kept them in games that would have been blowouts .. offensive scoring obviously has been great
Leafs have a very fast young team , not sure why their GA is so high as I don't have the video footage of defensive lapses that the coaching staff would be reviewing daily.
But I would think that their neutral zone play and turnovers have a lot of room for improvement. As we all know when its playoff time that wide open style will be hard to play as everyone plays such a tight checking game.
Just hope to see that GA get much lower by April.
Just noticed as of right now Leafs have the highest Goals For in the league at 68 and the second highest Goals against at 60 , if they are going to be a contender or go deeper in the playoffs this year that GA stat needs to be addressed.
our tradition started back in 1992 , playing The Hip (Fully Completely) on our way into Algonquin , every trip after was always the Hip around the campfire , thanks so much for the memories Gord !
Amazing Dave !!! a one man construction crew ..

Here is a link to his interview as well ... http://www.cbc.ca/radio/asithappens/as-it-happens-thursday-edition-1.4233735/why-this-ontario-angler-plans-to-keep-his-fishing-spot-secret-despite-freedom-of-information-request-1.4234269
I started fishing in Algonquin in the summer of 1977 and the last trip I went was with Mike when the Leafs were in the playoffs against the Bruins ... I have caught my fair share of trophy brookies ... and the lake names remain in my memory only ....
