  1. So sorry to hear. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
  2. great vlog ... nice camera work looks like you had the lake to yourself until the evening walleye bite
  3. X2 I've had luck mostly in less than 6 ft Used set line with small minnow, or jigging small jig head with grub or small trigger x grub If we had a chance at larger specs I'd upsize lures but the stocked lakes around us are mostly small specs ... pan fried in butter is very good ...
  4. That's amazing !!! But the link isn't working...
  5. Back to back shutouts ... so nice to watch the Leafs again . I have no delusions of a Stanley Cup parade but it's great to watch this group of guys with tremendous speed , goal scoring , good goaltending and Babcocks system coming together ... go Leafs go !

  10. Feels like -51 ? Lol .... mind numbing for sure !!!!
  11. If you are out on the ice all day and intend to drill lots of holes , would it help to remove the battery from the drill after use and keep it in something insulated and warm to keep it from discharging quicker from cold ? I was thinking maybe using one of those hot packs that you put in your mitts.
  12. Thanks Brian ... That's sweet !!! I bought a gas auger about 6 yrs ago , tired of slugging it around , will try the adaptor out with my 20 volt drill .
  13. Nice !! I was looking at it ... where did you get the adaptor for the auger to the drill ? 1/2 inch ?
  14. Is that drill adaptor from Sail ? I saw one similar to that today .
  15. Rods , assorted lures, good clothing ... start basic ... as much as you can get away with and then if you get hooked ... no pun intended ... first thing is you're going need more money ? Then the obsession goes to needing, a snow machine, portable Otter XT Pro Cabin, top of the line electronics , booking getaway ice fishing vacations ... be afraid ... very afraid ?
  16. I had plans to go ice fishing all this week but got sick on New Years Day ... the strain of these colds is nasty almost like the flu ... I gotta shake it soon and so I can get out there ...

  21. 220,000 walleye in the Drag River ???? Does that feed into many lakes ?? Wonder what the survival rate is ?
  22. Thanks for the post ! Itching to get out there soon too!
  23. Yeah that's a sweet setup, nice having that coffee pot right there ....
  24. Yes ... The dish is typically made from fresh raw fish cured in citrus juices, such as lemon or lime, and spiced with ají or chili peppers. Additional seasonings, such as chopped onions, salt, and cilantro, may also be added. We filleted some walleye cut up into smaller pieces and let it sit for a few hours in lime juice which actually cooks it, then added all the other ingredients... but like I said I think you should only try it with salt water fish ...
