The Blues game is a great look at what the Leafs have in store for the playoffs. The Blues are heavy on the puck and have a relentless forecheck .. as Kypreos said all the teams know they can take a run at Leafs players , there is no one that will will make them pay the price ... just not mean enough ... After that hit on Kadri twice ... nobody in the Leafs to step up ... Just not liking what i’m seeing if they are to get deep into playoffs ...

I'm glad the Caps beat the Bruins last night , kept flipping back and forth between Leafs game and Bruins . I want to be positive about the Leafs chances in the playoffs but watching the bruins and caps last night i'm not feeling that warm fuzzy feeling ... those teams play the heavy game that Babcock was looking for in his team .. as I've said before the playoffs is a different beast , i'm worried for Marner, hes going to be a target in the playoffs, and the Leafs don't seem to have any muscle to stand up for their stars ... Lets see if they acquire anyone for the last stretch ...

Beauty Dave !!!!! Married to an beautiful Italian woman , i have been spoiled for so many years ... great food, great wine and coffee ... La Dolce Vita !!!!! In laws still make the old style coffee using the Bialetti stovetop coffee machine , not exactly an espresso but still pretty good Funny about the capuccino after 10 am .... That was definitely the case in Rome ....

If its the Mountain Lake up near Minden , then do not go anywhere near the current by the bridge over Hwy 35 ... although I see guys setup huts close to the open water all season... not sure how far down that lake the current makes the ice sketchy ....I have never fished on the north end only the south end of the lake for that reason ... its been a hit and miss , we traveled by foot and covered a lot of area a few years ago , no luck with the white tubes did ok with minnows

LOL no need to overcomplicate ... take chum , put hand sized rock in with chum add water and freeze in a container take frozen rock and chum and drop down hole .... it works !!!!!

Oh I agree .... Tickets were free ... took my son ... Those beer and food prices is whats helping pay all the multi million dollar salaries .... Fans in our row were ordering 2-3 beers at 16 bucks each , money would be handed down the row and beer would be handed back ... LOL seems most fans don't care .... part of the price to pay for the whole show experience ... would have felt better if the LEAFS showed up and made it a real game ... At home on my recliner is way more comfortable and I get all the replays , at the arena you are perched on the edge of your seat to try to see the rink over the guy in front of you... your view gets blocked every time someone tries to leave for a beer or washroom all the suits down at ice level don't make any noise, no one is yelling at the players ... you go to a game in the USA and the players really get an earfull

Went to the game last night and boy was it quiet in there ... the effort i saw was pathetic 1 tall can of beer = $16.75 ... popcorn = $8.00 ... luckily my tickets were free ...

yeah Simon, i got the Yamaha Kodiak and want to use it on the back lakes this winter was looking at the GPS ram mounts for ATV's , saw some of your vids with ATV , I know you also use your sled a lot so was wondering if you had any special accessories for your ATV that are designed more for winter ice travel

Well the Leafs have 12 years before their name gets removed from the bottom ring of the Stanley cup ... as they add more rings to the top , the bottom rings get removed and displayed at the Hockey Hall of Fame, so in 2030 the Leafs last winning team from 1967 wont be on the cup anymore.... I am a glass half full guy so hope all the stars align and the Leafs can get to the big show before i forget what Hockey is all about ...LOL Having said that we know how hard it is to win a cup even when you have a talented team on paper .... add another wrinkle to this dream ... saw guys fishing and ripping around on sleds last weekend !!! on Green Lake by West Guilford .... there was open water by the current areas .. thats crazy if you ask me , but locals figure they know what they are doing I guess ...
