Yeah good point Chris ... no fly ins booked for June ... LOL I was in Algonquin one spring with Mike Borger in May and we were listening to the Leafs playoff game against Boston under a tarp in the pouring rain, we had the little radio antenna touching some aluminum pots to get better reception ... it was great !!! sipping on some nectar and cheering for the Leafs , they lost bad that year ... sorry I know we all remember that awful game 7 ... LOL Just need everyone to stay healthy..... ?

In their hayday there was 30,000 workers now its 2,500 left in the plant. I worked there for just under 20 yrs in the office, was let go a few years back (part of a group of 60 salaried) in one of many downsizing efforts that has been going on for a long time. I didn't sulk and blame anyone I just moved on and found other employment. I don't blame GM for my job loss, we all knew where things were heading … companies have to adapt and change and so do we, its way the things are now … no more loyalty to 1 company and job for life mentality. Manufacturing in Ontario is a sector that has lost so many jobs in the last decade and will continue unless governments make manufacturing investment attractive. Many of my friends still there all have at least 25 yrs or more and are all being offered packages. They are also offering it to 18,000 workers in the US as well. They want a younger workforce … Won't get into if GM owes anybody anything debate… but we are in an era of massive tech change for vehicles. Its not just other car companies but they are now competing against Google, Apple and TESLA.

I like this as opposed to rubber bands ,,, looks a lot easier to remove if you have big fat fingers ... LOL

No one seems to mention Andersen, his play has been outstanding and he is a major reason the Leafs are winning as well. He won that game for the Leafs last night .... If the the Leafs get behind he keeps them in the game with critical stops , psychologically its a big boost for a team when you know your goaltender can do that ...

after reading a few more articles and the statement put out by the players in question, apologizing to Coach Raymond and fans … I think this was a huge learning experience for these kids … the Senators organization has also addressed it and will take it behind closed doors .. too bad they won't say that stuff when they get interviewed between periods … LOL

Not sure if the NHLPA would allow it but hit those players where it hurts ... in their wallet ... Yeah I know it probably happens on other teams behind closed doors but this is a total embarrasment to the organization , let alone having these guys now try to explain there comments to other team members
