  1. Okay, I re read it, it seems that you say that some (wovles) are 4-5 feet tall at the shoulders, to me that means when it's standing on its 4 legs, it would measure 4-5' high at the shoulder, or do you mean if it stands on its hind legs, front paws up, it would be 4-5 feet high?
  2. Okay, now I know for sure you guys are growing something wacky up there...4 feet I can believe if I drink a six pack, but 5 feet, there ain't nuff beer in TBay to make that happen. The last lion I saw wasn't no where near that big.
  3. If you are purchasing it new, never registered before, yes, it's over 10HP, it requires the numbers on both sides close to the front of the hull in specified size lettering. You would be real wise of obtain a bill of sale from the seller. Then go to a Service Ontario location to complete the paperwork.
  4. Never heard of it, never admit to that..here ya go: http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/eh/well...onbacteria.html
  5. No, you can't run when your pants fall down
  6. No, if I recall, the old fellow died from a stroke. Simcoe doesn't "get" people, they do it to themselves.
  7. Just like the vehicles going through around Gilford, Lefroy and a host of other places, just to save a few minutes of walking.
  8. I didn't hear the part where he says "watch this Bubba"
  9. The formation of icicles at the edge can often be a result of insuffcient insulation at the edge of the wall plate where the trusses meet and, lack of air circulation by way of soffit vents. Snow will melt in the overhang area, run down a bit and refreeze as it goes over the edge. Might be worth having a pro give you advice, it can cause further damage by making ice dams which leak into the roof area.
  10. Go to...Princess Auto, they have generator covers made from a breathable nylon type material, cheap like borscht.
  11. Sounds like someone needs some time behind the snow shovel...
  12. Maybe someone can hook him up in the little Maple Leafs fruit suit. I can't photochop.
  13. Oh my, the old air base at Rivers, MB, now(or last I saw it in '94) it was a pig farm. Some mighty fine walleye in the reservoir there, built my first hut out there, found out at -38 propane goes solid and won't flow out of the hose, that's why all the locals have wood burners.
  14. McKinnon Rd into the swamp? 99.9% is posted.
  15. PMQ rat eh? At least you got to travel early.
  16. Nice hunt for that chap, I'll bring the mashed potatoes, who's brining the salad..
  17. Yep, need to be in shape and have a lot of patience, if you're alone trying to set one up, go on a calm day, otherwise you might be trying out the sport of catching a cover. If the snows a bit deep, they don't float, they dig into the snow. Best thing I did for mine..got rid of it. Now I have a flip over.
  18. "Big Time" what Wild has said about the MSW(modified sine wave) inverters, some products will tell you outright to never use an MSW inverter even for charging batteries or powering sensitive equipment, it's like using a match to see how much gas is in the tank. I know the some people have good luck with the cheap ones, you'll also the see the difference in price and quality with a Pure sine inverter.
  19. Oh gawd, not again...that thing has shown up more often than a raccoon at the local dumpster, little fish has the stringer out of its mouth into and under the gill plate of the larger fish, when pulled tight, the smaller fishs head went under the gill plate of the bigger fish. I think I caught that one at Lake (you fill in the blank) cause it's been caught in every known lake.
  20. For the Moen, I kept all the paperwork, unscrew the handle, pull the "E" clip and then the cartridge should pull out, I'll have to emphasize SHOULD, if I pulled any harder, the whole chitten faucet would have come up through the counter top. Took the whole unit out, and finally in a 6 inch bench vise and wrecking bar it came out, bad molding or whatever, but never another Moen.
  21. Nice photo, no sneekin up on him.
  22. Funnier yet, their last bail out doesn't have to start to be paid back until 2055, are they hoping the bankers and Gov't will forget by then. Either the Gov't supports everything from Mom & Pops Pizza going out of business to the Big 3 or nothing at all, no favourites. Can't swim...sink.
  23. Don't know if it's common knowledge, just a maintenance thing, my tub faucet appears to have the same 2 rubber knobby things with springs, need replacing about once a year, but, I would rather that then the junk Moen faucet that could not be taken apart after a year.
  24. Well I heard a good one yesterday, almost unbelievable but true, it's not stealing gas or hood emblems..they are now going around stealing rims and snow tires in PQ, so much demand and high prices that you have to get the wheel locks installed. Neighbour of mine went to Montreal last weekend to visit, couple of the neighbours had new tires and cheap steel rims installed, lasted all of one night, come out the next morning, cars on blocks.
  25. The older ones have AquaVu written across the top, the new ones have Showdown written across the top
