  1. Thanks for the reply. makes me wonder why anyone bothers to buy black anchors.
  2. Please let us know the brand.
  3. Ha, funny you mentioned that Lew, just talking to a fellow down the road building a house, said the same, it's dropped about 30% and will continue downwards for a while yet.
  4. Maybe it has a water sensor and needs that for it to work, no worky in thin air, lol.
  5. 120 works better, tape the black wire(small opening in a receptacle, big one is white, neutral) to a metal rod about a foot long and insert into damp ground. Now don't be a fool and try and lick the rod. Dad used to do it quite often to feed the fish in the pond.
  6. I've had my BPro goretex for many years, still holding up and no leaks. I would buy it again.
  7. I avoid that candy aisle at all costs, mixed roasted nuts are okay but not those bags of sugar, lol.
  8. Only going by my 1987 travel trailer and the new 2019 one I have, I can only say that the workmanship of the new ones is like, assembled by a bunch of crackheads. Windows not sealed, plumbing connections not even remotely tight, when I turned the water on and took the strainers off, wood chips came out with the water. Couldn't figure out why one of the receptacles inside didn't work, well the wires weren't hooked up. Unbelievable. And it's not just the low end models, there's people on the RV forums with complaints all day, all night. Floors are now no longer 3/4 or 5/8 plywood, it's foam sandwiched between luan sheets and covered with either sheet vinyl or other junk. One large lady actually fell through her floor. So, that said, I'd be looking at some of the older well taken care of models.
  9. 1 1/2 cups of rye flour (bulk barn) 2 cups of unbleached white flour 1/4 cup of sugar 1 pack of fast rising yeast 1 1/2 cups of milk, I use 2% 4 tablespoons butter Mix first 4 ingredients dry in a big bowl or big stand mixer bowl Pre heat your oven at lowest setting for about 2-3 minutes and turn off. Mix last two ingredients in microwave safe bowl and heat to about 120F (about a 1 1/2 in 800Watt micro). Mix all ingredients together either by hand power or mixer for about 2-3 minutes. Take out the blob of dough and place on a lightly floured sheet of some sort, knead for about 4-5 minutes. You must knead the dough otherwise it won't rise properly. As you go you may have to add a bit of sprinkled flour on the sheet to keep it from sticking. Place the shaped dough into a greased (PAM) glass loaf pan 8" x 5" (mines a 1.4L Pyrex). Place into the low temp preheated oven middle rack. It will take about 30 minutes or so to rise above the sides of the loaf pan. Take it out, then preheat the oven to 340F, when it's heated, return the loaf pan into the oven for 25-26 minutes. Keep an eye on it the last 3-4 minutes, if the top is browning too much, cover with foil. Take out and let it cool on a rack, use a paper bag to store it, not plastic bag otherwise it will get sweaty. Get the appropriately needed weapons to hold off the taste testers. Enjoy.
  10. What Shag said, I'll do the boiling water canning for fruit and veggies but never for meats. Had home canned salmon with mayo on rye today for lunch. Made some home rye bread the other day, there isn't a donut made by I don't care who that tastes better than that rye bread. Best is it's sooo simple to make. From start to finish about an hour and a half using the fast instant yeast.
  11. Have to agree, a 25L tank in my 16 with an F40 Yamaha, all day, all night, Mary Ann.
  12. Hahahaha, West Bend made a lot of things, even my ancient old electric frying pan that still works.
  13. Well I just looked everywhere I could think of, there looks to be an unlimited amount of different style gear cases, 2 screws, 2 screws above the cavitation plate, but not like yours. I'll look more.
  14. Only an opinion but it looks like the green screw has screw driver marks on it so I don't think it could hurt to undo it. Maybe shifter linkage set screw underneath. What brand of motor?
  15. I imagine he practiced a few times but pretty good.
  16. Where's the rest of your wallet? Maybe beg forgiveness from the wife and ask for it back and tell her you'll do the laundry and breakfast in bed for the next 4 months.
  17. Wd40 killed the plastic grips on my wiss snips. Made them swell and rubbery. How many guys are going to experiment now, lol.
  18. How long ago when a lot of the members came down for the winter fish fest over by Innisfil Park.
  19. Well then the same could be said for rollers. Adequately sized tie downs prevent any unscheduled launchings. I go to the boat launch for entertainment on saturdays and sundays. If I had a longer range lens, I could probably make some hilarious videos. Best I ever saw was a Mario backing up, jack knifed and drove his stainless prop right through the next guys truck door.
  20. If the winch strap snaps, that's what the secondary chain and hook are for. If the boat slid forward on the trailer through his rear window, I'd suspect cheesy rear tie downs or none at all.
  21. I think their best before date is probably calculated with algorithms relating to people puttering about to the ones that launch and go full throttle 3 feet past the dock and pound 4 foot waves. Mines a '96 and no leaks either, but, I'm of the belief that if you want to wreak it, it can be done on your own dime.
