  1. And a self centering roller at the back.
  2. And there's no point in "poking the bear".
  3. Part of the problem is that you can be fully vaccinated and still be a carrier and infect others that are not. No thanks.
  4. In direct sunlight, you can see it but not very clear, it needs a cover to keep the sun off the screen. Depending on what the output of your old camera is, (the underwater part), if it is colour or B&W, that's what you will see on the screen. Then again, some camera's won't work with the new screen anyway. Sell the old one and buy a complete new kit. Check their refurbished ones, sometimes there's some good savings. Or, go check the Eyoyo brand, they are pretty good for less money.
  5. For his sized light 16', slide the boat back about 2 feet, either use double stacked milk crates(or equivalent) on each side of the back of the boat so it just clears the bunks. Then (hope you have some buddies) lift the front and pull the trailer out. I did my 16' like that to put my Glyde Sliks on.
  6. Well, me being mostly a meat (pork, chicken and fish, sometimes beef) potatoes and gravy type had my first encounter with Indian food, buttery chicken, naan, curry chicken and green pea Palas. My taste buds sort of short circuited for a couple seconds but it's pretty good. Nothing outrageously spiced.
  7. 🤮 Ah nooooo.
  8. That looked pretty good until I saw bell peppers, had a great urge to go hurl. Unfortunately I have an extreme distaste for any peppers.
  9. Why, same set up more or less, rod is cranked down to put tension on the line to the release clip.
  10. I did about 15 years ago and would do it again in a heart beat. They are called Glyde Sliks, come in various lengths. The only thing you have to be sure of, don't untie the crank line until you are ready to let it slide off. Makes retrieval a lot easier too. You could use puck board or uhmw plastic strips, make sure you countersink the screwheads.
  11. First thing you have to look and read. Are there any springs in/on that product?
  12. And they have that death grip on the steering wheel looks like they're going over the cliff.
  13. Yes they can get high centered, winch with a ice anchor is good insurance.
  14. Ha, I remember the first one you got, you were just like youngster with a new toy attacking snowbanks on Base.
  15. Yup, wasn't out that day but remember the story. Similar to the one when the crack went through right under the hut and I was climbing over Marcel to get out the door. Scared the poop out of me, pretty funny at the time. The other year when people had to get rescued, it took me over an hour and a half to walk back from the hut area in Gilford back to shore, 3 steps forward, 2 back with the ice going up and down.
  16. Not a thread for misfortunes but a thread to tweak those that have a hut out there and might not have thought about a hut going for a long slide.
  17. Making the most of a motor requires a little foreplay to warm things up to the right temperature, then again some guys IQ is like a small shoe size.
  18. Wonder if any huts went for a ride today wit this crazy wind.
  19. Keeps the mosquitos away.
  20. News said we are going back to lock down in Simcoe Muskoka on monday, this is getting annoying.
  21. Even the weather net is mentioning that campsite booking is well underway with little to find at the moment. With people turning to other things like camping and trailer/rv sales booming, it will be do it now or camp in the driveway. Even last year was pretty sparse on weekends.
  22. What is it, a frankenstein of human meddling by no other words.
  23. LGBxtyz2 is hunting your sorry butt right now.
  24. A number of years ago, 5 or so, they were still catching them in the small pools just beside the north impact area.
