  1. Fuel capacity 246 L, so at todays marina prices you will be over $500.00
  2. I looked at both No Frills and Sobey's this morning, neither had the spice.
  3. First question is, do you have your own gas refinery? Likely to cost over $500.00 for a fill up
  4. Might be doable if you live in the city, imagine just the round trip cost of gas if you're from farther away plus $20 admission.
  5. Well I had a butt cramp on the way to town this morning, yesterday it was $1.59, this morning diesel has gone up to $1.85. Imagine where the price of groceries is going. I would suspect gas thefts will be happening.
  6. Another word for changing nature.
  7. I filled my EcoD yesterday, still at $1.59, less than 1/2 tank, $75, it's criminal.
  8. I remember that trip when you had the old double cab Dodge and we we going to get the 10 ton hut off Lefroy, must have been going warp speed. Then there was the other trip when I think it was you driving the snowmobile dragging an empty trailer and Marcel got run over when he fell off the front. surprised that he didn't have a bunch of broken ribs. None worse for the wear.
  9. I think Terry meant like back when we were Neanderthals, lol.
  10. I've been having that same feeling for about the last 10 years.
  11. I don't know why they are blaming the price of oil/gas going up on the current state of the world. We should blame our own asylum for not having adequate means of producing and refining.
  12. A number of years ago I actually had to use my extension on the Jiffy, about 3 1/2 feet around Gilford.
  13. Yes, used to try going south and east out of the Narrows towards the bay in McCrae Pt, sometimes there were some bruiser perch in there.
  14. Miserable buggers, and me than can't do acrobatics or pole vault. I can remember way back there used to be quite a crew there and then just before ice out go crappie fishing in there after dark. used to go smelting by Brentwood marina back in the day too.
  15. Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure you're right, I didn't have the 16' boat yet.
  16. Yes, on the north side of Couchiching between the 2 little islands, god that has to be about 25 years ago.
  17. 1996, new boat, 2nd time out caught a $1000 perch, bought the wife a dishwasher. Somebody up there was watching out for me.
  18. And how much does this bunch of 20L cans cost to save a few cents? $25 + tax +$28.25 not to forget the cost of gas to drive there and back for 1 20L can. So even if gas goes up .10C a litre, you would have to buy 280 litres just to cover the cost of 1 gas can, and, then don't forget you're burning gas to go to the gas station to fill them up. BTW, I didn't add the cost of stabil either.
  19. On TV news the other night, it's CANCELLED, due to lack of prizes etc. They going to try and do it next year.
  20. Ya, the funny thing is the new big knobs with the coarse thread on the outside are right hand, the old ones that screw into the tank valve are lefties. Good outcome, problem solved.
  21. I do believe the end that goes into the tank is left hand thread.
  22. Nope, no real deals and I don't like big crowds anymore.
  23. At least he should have shown a pic of the dimwit who caused the mess.
  24. There was another one similar, they were using the drone to drop the bait and weight far away as they couldn't cast that distance. Fishing for sturgeon.
  25. Reminds me of some of those years on the Meaford slug hunt.
