Amazon.ca has a similar one, https://www.amazon.ca/Quality-Mark-28801-Bow-Step/dp/B007D2N212?th=1&psc=1 seems like all the rest are south of the border. Bass Pro.com also has some, maybe they will ship up here to the store.

Back out this morning for a look, found a nice patch with bigger bulbs, got a grocery bag full. I would estimate another 10 days or so and then it will be high time to pick.

The hypocrisy of it is they wizz and moan and want you to come to their towns and cities to support their businesses, but that rate is nuts.
-
Not to be outdone by other towns, Collingwood has increased their greed, $10 and hour up to $50 for the day for parking and $10 to launch. Not going there anymore.

I can't see the gas staying this high forever, sooner or later people won't be able to afford to drive to work and you can only do so much car pooling.
-
Went and checked the leek patch on thursday, they're up but need a bit more heat to plump up the bulbs. Picked a few and roasted them with oil in the oven, mixed with pasta and left over chicken and mushroom, yum.

I would say yes.

Yamaha or Suzuki and none of this 2 stroke baloney, Yamaha is a bit more, $3900 for basic pull start, $4200 for electric. Suzuki has a pull for $3.4k and electric $4.2 cash tax inc. So you save a bundle on the Suzuki. Personally I would never touch a Merc unless you want a heavy anchor.

This works for either regular white or a medium rye bread. If you're making white just use 3 3/4 cup white, for rye split as below. 2 1/4 cups white flour, 1 1/2 cups rye flour (bulk barn). 1/3 cup sugar, pinch of salt 1 pack of Fleishmans fast rising yeast and 6 teaspoons of Fleishmans bread booster. 1 1/2 cups of milk and 4 tablespoons butter (no margi, yuck). Mix dry ingredients in the mixer bowl, warm the milk for about 2 minutes in MW with butter til it's melted, stir and add to the dry mix. I run the mixer with the dough hook for about 4 minutes on #2 speed. Pre heat oven to about 150F for a couple minutes and turn off. Take the dough and knead it for about 2 minutes on a floured surface, and fit into a 9x4 inch bread pan, spray with PAM, (I prefer glass pan). Put into the oven for about 45-50 mins or until doubled. Take out of oven, preheat to 350F, insert loaf pan for about 23-25 minutes. Take it out of loaf pan onto a cooky grill and let it cool. Store in a paper bag, plastic will make it sweat too much. If the smell doesn't make you drool, you have covid. I found the Fleishmans bread booster made a big difference.

I bet they taste the same if you were blindfolded.

You want a foolproof bread dough recipe for white or rye bread, let me know I'll post it

Good move, I bought one about 5-6 weeks ago, oh my what a difference compared to the old one. You can even get meat grinder attachments for that one. Making bread dough, takes about 10 minutes.

Even with those wheels I put a bit of anti seize where the hubs and wheels come together to prevent them seizing, definitely on the steel ones. You have a torque wrench? make sure you check at least 2-3 times that the wheel nuts are still tight, for some reason on the steel rims the nuts never loosen, on those ones I have had to retorque them. almost lost one a few years ago.

Was there around lunch today waiting for the wifes doc visit, the ice wasn't quite out to Minets Point yet. Couple more days, rain and a bit of wind will kill it. The water level looked pretty high along the Tiffin launch.

At those prices, I'll eat PB&Jam sammies.

Corruption hahahaha.

And the half a roll of electrical tape. Had a guy at the camp a few years back that had multiple joints and used every imaginable colour of wire but not all in one piece. What a headache. Then there was the fellow (old medic I think you might remember) who got his boat outfitted at Hully Gully. They added 2 batteries but forgot to hook them up to anything to get charged. He couldn't figure out why his downriggers wouldn't come up and his F/F died. His name was Gary Burridge.

Simcoe bugs and similar in open water
Fisherman replied to SirCranksalot's topic in General Discussion
I remember the first time I saw a crusty old guy named George using them in open water on a 6-7 foot rod, lower to the bottom and gently twitch and slowly reel up, twitch and reel. He would only reel up about 3-4 feet and then open the bail and let it drop again. Misfish (Brian) knows who I mean. I haven't seen George in a couple years, don't know if he's still alive or not. He used the same ones in the winter, again a 6-7 foot rod ice fishing. -
Don't forget the trailer, sometimes dragging undesired aquatic plants to the next spot.

Take your boat to BC to get inspected. Check google, there's sooo many ideas, you'll be too old to clean your boat if you read them all. Javex.

A very happy birthday to an icon

Happy Birthday and the best of health -
You're going to like that Yama 40 a lot, really quiet and fires up on first try. Does it have the electronic idle control? Another feature that makes trolling pretty precise.

Self-inflating life jackets, why not for weak swimmers?
Fisherman replied to big guy's topic in General Discussion
And it's not the zipper on your jacket pocket. Get down on one knee and pee in the bucket, your trouser snake isn't that long that anyone has to stand up. -
You could make it in the army, all well organized and you already have a Sergeant Major to keep you in line, lol.

If you don't go with the max, then 3/4 is pretty much the low end or 20HP.
