  1. I'm going to throw this out, isn't the chipper blade supposed to go on the other side where the red line is?
  2. Art, I have an old 04 Cummins and regularly get 11 -12 L/100km, that's with a truck that probably weights over a 100 more than yours. You claim to get 16.8 L/100km with a 6000lb trailer at 65-85 mpg? One of my sons has a '13 Ecoguzzle, towing a 17' all aluminum enclosed trailer with 2 snowmobiles, we averaged between 22-28L/100km at no more than 70mph.
  3. The only time an Ecoboost will get rated mileage is when the box is empty, put any weight or a cargo trailer behind it and it can't pass a gas station.
  4. 16-18 inches for a truck with snow tires and chains, no problem. Weight helps like Wayne said. Driver experience helps a lot and remember that momentum will get you through some of the bad stuff. If you let off the gas you loose forward momentum and start to dig in. Are there any trees that are along the roadway? If so a 4000lb come a long is a great tool with a 50' tow strap. http://www.princessauto.com/en/search?Dy=1&Nty=1&Ntt=comealong
  5. That's big enough for you to climb in..
  6. That would have been my #1 choice but the width was too much for what I wanted. I couldn't fit the kolpin gun boot beside the box. Ended up buying an all checker plate aluminum box made for ATVs of all places, Home Depot. I found most of the other types were just too floppy or the wrong dimension for what I wanted. http://www.homedepot.ca/product/32-inch-atv-storage-box-aluminum/997124 Sent you a PM too.
  7. You fill it with a couple of minnows?
  8. Still raing/freezing rain here.
  9. That's what I thought it would be too, I had to tell the sales dude the other day that RAM was just pricing itself out of customers.
  10. Go to the MNR Hunting regs and from about page 8-13 they display the WMU maps, you can zoom in on them and see all the townships.
  11. Ya, saw that at the 1800 news last night, effective advertising, but there's always the idiots that can't follow the hints.
  12. Happy New Year and the best of health to everyone.
  13. Oh if push comes to crunch, I'll be doing a little road trip to check other dealers. You're one of a number of guys that have told me to go see Ontario Chrysler, maybe stop by on my next trip to my brothers place. I just stopped in at Barrie to get a rough idea, from the total experience there, parts and service, I wouldn't buy from them.
  14. Have to add that there's a healthy difference in price too. I got a 40 Yamaha last fall for about $2K less than the Honda.
  15. Well I had an experience today, went to the local RAM dealer. They have upped the price to the point that it's no longer worth buying them to get the return on mileage. A mid range equipped quad cab, 4x4, with heated seats, tow package and trailer mirrors will run around $53K. Even with their discounts and then add the tax, they're still over $51K. They're nuts. you can get a similarly equipped Ford for around $39K. That's a whole lot of gas money. The salesman said, unless you're doing around 45,000 km a year, it will be hard to break even.
  16. Idle Tyme and Bear Creek are two of the best.
  17. I knew I'd get someone with that myth..
  18. Partial discharge on Li-ion is fine; there is no memory and the battery does not need periodic full discharge cycles to prolong life, And make sure you don't put it on a cement floor to recharge it...
  19. Hope that merino wool has been processed.
  20. See ya when ya get here.
  21. More like peeling potatoes, sweet potatoes and ramming sumptin into the turkey.. . You can stop by, only takes a couple minutes to make a java with something special.
  22. Nope, Couple of good crack of lightning and thunder, looks like a dump of rain coming too.
  23. Merry Christmas and the best of health.
