  1. I don't blame ya, we have a couple that have the smile and attitude to "make your day".
  2. He's got it pretty much wrapped up in 3 minutes. http://www.wimp.com/correcthumanity/
  3. I don't know hat they are waiting for. There was another program where they had harvested A/Carp for human consumption and unless you were told what it was, no one was the wiser or complained.
  4. I thinks it's wort the 10-15 minutes to complete the survey, that way anglers can't moan and groan afterwards. Doesn't take all that long and it's understandable that some areas need extra protection.
  5. Not wasting our time at all Lew, you're making more of us aware of the scamming going on out there. I ran into something similar a while back at a restaurant, after threatening to call Police for fraud, the charge quickly disappeared.
  6. Hang in there, hopefully all turns out okay for your family.
  7. Now that's a nice B Day picture, best of health.
  8. And I'll stick by my guns and say that there is still strife in my life over that POS Galaxy. 4 days ago it decided it wouldn't hook up to wifi..again. Doesn't matter what, reboot, hot, cold, it's junk.
  9. So that's what you call the sheep down home..wool mitts, what were their names. Fluffy, Wooly, Fuzzy, Itchy, .... Were yu wearing pants with velcro kneepads..
  10. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-Men-Winter-Ragg-Rag-Wool-Glomitts-Fingerless-Gloves-Mittens-NWT-89089-/390955559987 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Heated-Ragg-Wool-Gloves-Mittens-fingerless-FREE-Pair-of-warmers-FREE-SHIPPING-/300986142016 Found these, I have a pair of the first one, lasted about 10 years.
  11. Check the shipping, $8 + another 185 + exchange rate = they better be some darn good. I think you'll be pretty close to $70+
  12. Jeez, musta been the only one that slept in..
  13. I'll agree with Roy..just a little bit. If they(Gov't) actually screened out the garbage they're letting in, we'd have a whole lot less burden on our systems. I ball refugees and imigrants in the same bag. On the other hand I know an ex Brit Military member that took well over 4 years to get his paperwork stamped to stay in Canada legally. He wants to work, he has a trade, he's not lazy, he's not sick, he wants to contribute.
  14. Me too, lets see what comes back if anything.
  15. Don't spend it all in one place..hahahaha
  16. Man they sent a taxi for you, that must have been an extra large hose they got you with. I don't believe for one second that the lubricants alone add up to more than $100. (4 litres of 4 stroke synthetic, 1 litre of gear oil, small can of startron fuel stab, oil filter about $15). Put outdrive up? What the heck, it's an outboard. Disconnect the battery, oh boy, that's real difficult. Lube the outdrive, hmmm, maybe 2-3 zerks, 2 shots in each one. I'd rather sit on a nest of red ants bare butt than get anything serviced there.
  17. I've got one of the Buddy heaters, no problems..yet. If you get the hose and bigger tank, go to P/A and get the inline filter for about $11. It's recommended. I still have to get around to making a small grilling shelf to heat some chow in front of the heater. I'm sure you can hatch something to fit on the front of the heater.
  18. Pinch yourself..maybe you're dreaming. If it hurts, get to work...
  19. That clip on CTV at 6 tonight shows that the public has reasonable modicum of solidarity in supporting the CF. Hats off to those who took the time to line the overpasses and highway to pay their respects. It sent a healthy shiver down my spine. I know when my parents came to Canada in '52 from war torn Europe, they adapted and embraced what was here to flourish and do well. Nowadays, it's become a real head shaker. I'm of firm belief, you come here and adapt, you don't have to throw away your previous heritage, but don't try to make it another country.
  20. Well, pretty much what Moosebunk said, shiftwork is not good for the body period..unless you're a Zombie or Vampire. It can be done when you're young, much past the mid 30's and it really wreaks hell on the body. You (your body) doesn't know when to relax, poop at the right time of day, is it sun up or sun down. I worked different shifts from 18-51 and the last 7 years straight days with the odd afternoon shift. Waaay better. Worked 9/6, 3 afternoons, 3 nights, 3 days( 8hr) and 6 off. Worked 2 days, 2 nights(12 hrs) and 4 off. Then a wierd 2 afternoons, 2 days, and 2 nights(8 hr) short change(only 8 hrs off between the shift rotations. Finally the 3days/2nights, off 5, 2 nights, 3days off 5 and 2days, 2 nights 4 off. Off 2 weekends a month and work 2.
  21. Sorry about that, my fingers fault, I tried and couldn't do it.
  22. That's one of the hardest things to deal with, this enemy doesn't wear uniforms you can easily recognize.
  23. Looks like the Sargeant at Arms plugged one of them..excellent. He gets a medal.
  24. Another disgusting moment, time to turn the tide.
