  1. Nice report John. Think of it as a good thing you didnt catch any musky. You'll now have a lot more money in your wallet. The day you do catch one and you get hooked on it kiss your cash goodbye.
  2. ʇlıʞ ɐ uı ǝuoǝɯos ǝǝs oʇ pǝǝu ʇ,upıp ı
  3. Heres some of mine Labour Day Salmon while musky fishing a buchertail Smallmouth on same buckertail same day And my ultimate a nice steelhead on a rouser which is a 8" glide bait for musky
  4. Thats one nice crappie. I caught one out of Puslinch that was 900 grams but that ones gotta be the biggist local one Ive seen.
  5. There is no closed season for bass were he is. From the amout of fishing post you put up Limey I guess the wife decided that was the onlt way shed get to spend any time with you
  6. If the water is to cold for swimmin and it is most of the time I suggest a quick trip across the highway to Dorcas Bay water is normally much warmer. The little creek that empties into it has brookies.
  7. Rebel PopR in bone work it slow or aggresive always produces. Also a spook for walkin the dog.
  8. Speed is Wadeable. Guelph Lake is nice for float tubing.
  9. Cypress Lake is excellent for smallies and walleye. Ive always had great success with Mepps Inline spinners as a catch all there. Best spot for me has been in front of the beach and just off the shoal in front of the creek that drains it.
  10. Ryan anymore questions regarding Sparrow jut PM me. KW Bassmasters trys to pair up boaters with nonboaters. They fish or use to tournaments on Shades Mills, Grand River, and other local spots as well as Eugenia and Long Point.
  11. Very nice fish Lew didnt land anything that big this weekend but my buddy lost the fish of a lifetime casting a Grim Reaper bucktail to the Canadian Side Fish took and sounded screaming drag the whole way. Had it on for 5 minutes Head shaking the whole time but could get it off bottom then nothing reel up hooks pulled out. I think hes still shaking. We ve caught many fish in the high 40's and Ive been on the boat when a 37 lber was landed but nothing Ive seen put up a fight like this.
  12. Where did you rent your cottage? One thing I like to do is fish up and down to the swing bridge on the Severn first thing in the morning before the boat traffic starts. It produces lots of bass and the odd muskie but once boat traffic begins the fishing is over. The two weedlines right and left of the channel of the severn at the south end of the lake have provided great topwater and spinner bait action for me. Ive always had great luck fishing the rice with weedless spoons and a pork trailer. Oh and did I mention Duck Bay , No? well dont forget to fish there as well. As far as tourneys there use to be a KW chapter of Bassmasters dont know if there still is. You can ask at Natural Sports Im sure they will know.
  13. It kills me how people think that stuff like this can be found within three hours of GTA. The kawarthas have plenty of walleye but thats as close as your going to get. If you looking for remote and plentiful you'll have to trvel farther. My choice would be Biscotasing-Ramsey Lake.
  14. Mid summer, mid week. I think I 'd take site #215 in Port Rawson Bay in Massassauga PP. Boat to only but theres a nice sandy pull up. Great bass and pike fishing right in the bay. Also musky fishing if thats your desire. Great swimming right at the campsite and being midweek you will not have to deal with the big boats.
  15. Its not whether you win or lose, or how you play the game, its how drunk you get!!
  16. When I was a kid we use to jump off that building in the background in this pic also the firehall bridge. When I see them now I just shake my head. Nice pike and definately one of the best rivers in southern ontario.
  17. Im not talking chocolate milk just a little colour I find the bigger fish seem to loose their cautious attitude.
  18. Give dewage a try just like you said no weight just a hook. Has always worked for me. One thing you might want to try with the bigger trout. Wait till after a good rain colours up the water some.
  19. This is the only knot I basically use. Its very easy and after years of doing it I can tie one with my eyes closed. Tested it at a fishing show one year and the line broke everytime before the knot would give.
  20. No worries just havin fun. Its always great fishing with the kids.
  21. Was that a "white bucket" I saw, full of fish none the less.
  22. Im sure its hard earned property as well. Not that stealing from the rich should be condoned either.
