  2. If you turn the hood inside out it will cut down on the being choked feeling. Art
  3. you can use just one of the leads. The other one remove the fuse and tape up the end and hang out of any weather or water contact. Art
  4. very nice well done. Don't be afraid to alter the tang of the blade the ability to shape the handle to fit your hand makes the knife worth its weight in gold. I add finger reliefs and thumb indents to make it feel like an extension of your hand. Art

  8. Technically here in the States we need a permit for any appliance including a garbage disposal and "any breaching of the potable water system". The good news is it is not enforced because of available inspectors.
  9. Solvents and wood dust can explode from a water heater. Most times we install venting for fresh air make up for combustion and make a closet to enclose the heater. Art
  10. Go to a place that sells carpet they have a heavy cardboard tube you can ship in. Put the rod in the tube with some bubble wrap and then wrap tape on the end and leave a tag end. Take the tag end out of the tube and tape to the outside of the tube to keep it from sliding. Place a cardboard discs on the end and tape close. Check the price of shipping versus the cost of the rod before sending it in oversized packages and tubes are pricey. Art

  12. I second Lak Air not only is there boats and engines top notch but they will happily draw a basic map on areas to watch for and I am almost sure they have insurance policies you can purchase if that weighs on your mind. Art

  18. It is the same theory as wetting leather to make it pliable. The advise is old school though with the new mono's and the chemicals they use to make it pliable it has less memory than the old versions. Art

  20. I match the bait fish if they are thin then I use a willow if they are wide then a colorado. I over ride this with water clarity willow for clear and thumpers for murky. Art
