  1. I have a FishHawk 1650 with a 90 Merc 4S... (new in 2013) Havent had a problem..great boat. Silly minor issue - but you cant open the livewell door when the spare seat is installed in the rear fishing platform. With the passenger seat installed, it opens fine... Other than that it has a sweet ride...
  2. I would look at track tension/drive sprockets condition - sounds like the sprockets maybe slipping. Edit - sorry..didn't fully read the part about you checking this... Earlier post about secondary would be next on the list...
  3. Lew - Sofabed is right - make sure that the bulb you pick is dimmable, because some types are not dimmable.
  4. Sure you can. 3 way 'mechanical dimmer, ie LUTRON Skylark' at one location, and a 3 way switch at second. 3 conductors between them just like with the switch. OR...a 3 way 'electronic dimmer ie LUTRON MAESTRO' at one location and its ' Accessory Dimmer' at the other. Same wiring as above. With this setup, the lights can be turned on/off AND dimmed from both locations. Because they are LED lights, you should make sure you get the 'C.L' version (specifically designed for LED and CFL dimmable bulbs) for the best dimming performance. Home Depot will have all these devices in stock...
  5. Crestliner Fish Hawk 1650, 90HP Merc 4 Stroke, 44MPH on GPS - just me in it...
  6. Pretty sure that you have an issue with the ignition timing on that one....
  7. Similar thing happened to my ATV...it was a faulty voltage regulator... Chances are the new battery is good but there is a 'leak' somewhere...
  8. That is why I love this board...great people!!
  9. Wow...that was a great deal. Nice to see people helping people.
  10. Still driving my 2002 F150 Super Crew....240k later I have only done exhaust manifold and 4x4 shift mechanism (other than std stuff like brakes, battery, tires etc).... I would buy another Ford..
  11. We have done something at Beachwood Resort - on Lower Buckhorn...
  12. These low wattage (Small)panels are ok for keeping batteries topped up during storage, but they will never charge a battery..
  13. I had same problem...water getting in to tank from bad seal on fuel gauge. At night when cooler temps cause fuel to 'shrink',vaccum was sucking in any water near seal...
  14. White egg shells...Styrofoam chunks...bread
  15. Wow...recognized that dam right away!! I grew up there!!! Caught a few of those along the way as well!! Much nicer to fish there now that the mill is closed.. Take Younge Street and make a right at Lookout road...!!
  16. Couldn't have said it better myself....
  17. I have the exact same set-up (except its a Evinrude - which are WAY Faster than Johnsons...lol) and it works like a dream.
  18. Orange Mobile huts have an overnighter on Simcoe..
  19. I have a 20Ga 870, with both smooth and rifled barrel.. As far as I can tell, the sabot slugs are just as deadly for deer from a 20 as a 12 (and still kicks like a mule!) 20 GA is a great gun for grouse etc, but if you are planning on going for waterfowl, a 12 is your best bet.. My 2 cents..
  20. As mentioned, the smart chargers are the way to go. Also, completely discharging any (including deep cycle) battery is very hard on it...
  21. Here is one...never tried it with moose, but it is awesome with pork.. mix a can of ginger ale with half a bottle of Diana's Rib BBQ Sauce. Layer bottom of roasting pan with sliced oigions put ribs in pan, pour mixture over. Cover with foil/lid, then cook in oven for 3 hours, at 300. Let cool, then bbq ribs..mix rest of bbq sauce with maple syrup, and apply. The meat falls off the bone, and the bbq sauce/maple syrup is simply awesome..
  22. What he said!!! Also, make good and sure that the hose that is your 'telltale' is clear..mine is always full of bugs in the spring..
  23. DAVE...thats crazy. Crazy fish that is!!!
