  1. I would have to agree with the neopreme waders in cooler cituations. I have a pair of waist high waders made by Bare. They are warm and do not overheat me due to the waist high atributes....They go on like a pair of jeans with a belt and fit comfortably with very little pulling in certain areas when nealing and crotching over to land fish.... If your not interested in wading in up to your chest I highly recomend these waist high waders for warmth and comfort... Cheers !!!
  2. Shelly, Hope everything turns out Ok for Chuck..... I got this gut feelin he'll be back doing his thing before the end of the week.... The man is strong as an OX... Chris
  3. Glen, Now that didn't take ya very long !!! Ya got to admit, they are a pretty sturdy bait...9 inches, heavy gauge wire and the rear hook is on its own split ring for easy replacement....Only thing I'm going to do with mine is take off the two stock split rings and replace them with Joe Butcher rings for a little bit of extra confidence...Other than that a few strokes with the sharpening file and its of to the races..... Cheers !!
  4. Sorry to here about your pup Mo... Chris
  5. Amazing what you can find out there..... Well done Nauti
  6. Welcome aboard Pikeman !!! I know Sharon Creek reservoir. That would be the reservoir in Delaware .My dad used to take me fishin there when I was a kid....Nice spot but I havent been for many years.... Cheers !!
  7. Yup,show was good this year...Lots of fishing booths and good turn out in the outfitters and lodge section...The boat room was packed as well so all in all I would say London is starting to come back again just like the old days.... JB's was even there so I was even able to pick me up a few muskie baits Cheers !!
  8. I would take the plunge and get the level wind casting reel. All levelwinds require some adjustment when it comes to casting different sized baits no matter the style and you will do this second nature after a couple days on the water....Don't be intimidated with the gadgets on these reels because they really are simple to use.....Now go out there and get yourself that calcutta, you won't regret it !!! Cheers !!
  9. Very well done Pam....I like the "cougar in the shadows" look....
  10. Unbeleivable......Thank god your daughter pulled through that accident with as few injuries as she did....Ive been in a couple of good fender benders in my lifetime and I can honestly say its the psycological part that takes the most healing.... All the best for your daughter.....
  11. Danbo, I don't personally have a Record but I do have a couple of ABU's kickin around,6500 and a 7000...From what I can see from the reveiw link the Record has the clicker button on the top left side of the reel and I have a problem with that. My 6500 clicker is in the same position and I find I end up engaging the clicker when casting, not always but when it happens it doesn't sound like its doing alot of good for the reel....On my 7000 the clicker is on the side of the reel and out of the way which makes it alot more user freindly for myself .....
  12. I would go with a good size power head for the 50 gallon and go out and buy a submersable heater you can lay down on the bottom of the tank . The regular type hang on the side of the tank heater will do fine as well,I just prefer submersables....
  13. Now if I could only get Joe to drive down here to Dutton and cut the lock off my shed..... I just lost the key all together !!!!!
