  1. Probably not a lot of people jigging a lipless crankbaits thru the ice? Great pics!
  2. An interesting article, Perch also don't guard a nest, and gobies may be a reason for the declining population in the central basin of Lake Erie here? https://thefishsite.com/articles/species-profile-yellow-perch-perca-flavescens A gobie or school of them might just eat up a whole strain of eggs?
  3. Like it's safe to travel here? https://apnews.com/article/nearly-half-us-coronavirus-infections-come-from-5-states-53888dc78894cc76cb1bb50f8300f102
  4. Depending on how and where you fish you probably don't need to fill the reel up with braided line, use some mono for backing.
  5. The Walleye spawn here on Lake Erie has been going on for a few weeks now, the Perch seem to need help? https://ohiodnr.gov/wps/portal/gov/odnr/discover-and-learn/safety-conservation/about-odnr/news/yellow-perch-daily-limit-reduced?fbclid=IwAR12VZUwbffAdfxQHst_F7GgWrThkxmDCQGyJ7kXYg4fFRUVg3B5_SyBAUo
  6. https://www.bassmaster.com/gear/pure-fishing-announces-plans-purchase-plano You have to wonder if a new owner might cut some of a product line?
  7. What seems a bit troubling to me is that this stuff seems to mutate faster than the flu virus?
  8. https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/04/health/covid-vaccine-protection-lasting-variants-wellness/index.html Imagine having to get a new shot for it every year?
  9. https://www.motosport.com/oem-parts/part-number/5KM-84710-01-00?mmy=yamaha%3Bgrizzly 660 4x4%3B2006&group=taillight&qty=1 https://www.motosport.com/oem-parts/yamaha/2006/grizzly-660-4x4/taillight Evidently those seem to be the same on a lot of years and models?
  10. My first lefty was one like this, an Abu 5001c from 1971, it was the first lefty reel I had seen. Like because my first one had what they called grooved rims. A couple of years later I got another from Bass Pro Shops that had beveled rims like this one and a power handle.
  11. LOL, we actually have more snow than that Lew, ya the April Fool's deal, you thought it was spring?
  12. Basically it's just a comfort thing, I am right handed, but all my reels were left hand retrieve, and all the baitcasters I learned on were right hand retrieve.
  13. Not sure if that is the one you want, but it shows them in that color. Your average local tackle store can't stock every item, but a good one may be able to order an item for you? That link didn't work?
  14. Actually free shipping on orders over 50 bucks from what I see on their site. All the tackle places here seemed to have upped their limits to get free shipping.
  15. I am surprised you can't troll slow enough with a 25hp with out modifying things.
  16. Big fish eat little fish, and it seems there is a lot of that going around in the tackle industry too. A lot of those out of stock items may not be produced by the next owner?
  17. In years gone by their sale here seemed to coincide with the Cleveland Sportsman Show, I don't believe they even have one in Cleveland anymore. I remember going to Auburn Hills and Dundee instead of the Sportsman Show here, will they still allow tour buses?
  18. https://www.capitolfishing.com/penn-pursuit-2-spinning-reels-p/p-pur.htm 21 ounces might make using it feel like work?
  19. My older brother's lady friend died a couple of months ago and my son's buddy grandfather died last week from covid, I don't see any need to rush.
  20. Sell tens of millions of doses to the USA but no approval on it's use? Hmmm?
  21. https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/17/politics/us-astrazeneca-mexico-canada/index.html " There are tens of millions of AstraZeneca doses stockpiled in the US and the company believes it will have roughly 50 million Covid-19 vaccine doses available to the US government by the end of April. None of those doses are available to Americans now because AstraZeneca has not applied to the Food and Drug Administration for an emergency use authorization, and the vaccine is still going through clinical trials in the US. AstraZeneca has been approved for use in both Canada and Mexico, and the company itself has asked the Biden administration to consider requests to donate inventory to other nations. " I have no idea why they haven't applied for an emergency use authorization.
  22. http://www.ansci.wisc.edu/jjp1/ansci_repro/misc/websites09/thur/Deer Seasonality/Deer Seasonality.html Yep Lew, not uncommon.
  23. https://www.thedickinsonpress.com/northland-outdoors/6842071-Ontario-resorts-brace-for-possible-second-summer-without-US-guests Sadly it could be another tough year?
  24. This! You can fill a barn with stuff you will never use.
