Glen I haven`t used it myself, my buddy uses a similar method for crappie though, just a small jig 1/32 or 1/16 fished under a slip bobber (small) usually tipped with a small minnow. They drift troll them, troll them super slow with the electric motor. I have fished nitecrawlers on a small slip bobber early in the year for largemouth, a lot of the time the bobber doesn`t go down it just stops drifting with the wind or boat when it shouldn`t.

No sure idea on the subject, I watch the programs on the history and discovery channels, something seems to be happening. There have been a lot of fluctuations in the climate in the past and a lot of history seems to depend upon who is writing it. Different views from different writers. I have also heard on one of the programs that certain parties are funding a campaign of mis-information on the severity and causes of global warming, kind of like the tobacco companies producing experts? to testify on the effects of tobacco. The economic effects will be severe, and the effects on humans probably worse if it happens.

Nice fish! They were getting walleyes at night near shore on the south side of Erie, a yearly thing if the weather is good. Dude got a 32 inch 15 pounder Late November, saw the pic in the paper. It can be a mad house at nite on the piers fishing for them.

Retired now due to disability, International Brotherhood of Teamster local driver and dockman for a little over 30 years, a couple of years driving as a UAW driver for a box company, a few years doing this and that in factories and other places. Formerly a part time bass angler, home handy man, LOL Mr fix-it, now Mr. Pay someone else to fix it!

The local tackle store by me is great (The Rodmakers Shop, Strongsville, Ohio) They don`t have everything but enough to give you a good start at whatever you decide you want to fish for. A decent selection of all kinds of freshwater tackle. The crew there also fishes and they are good, help is provided if you need it. I like going to the big box store once in a while, but the local shop can handle my needs most of the time. Also a good spot to get info on area tournaments, and the owner puts some on late in the year.

Never was much of a fan of snow and ice, less so now that I don`t walk well, 47f here tomorrow. Love it ! Starting to look like I got to much firewood.

I used to catch them in the creeks off of lake erie here I called them silver shiners, don`t know the proper name. Longer and thicker bodied than an emerald shiner, LOL good bait!

Chris, I lost my grandfather in the 60`s,my dad in 91, my mom lost an eye to cancer 2 years ago, other family members and friends are gone from it. It does get a bit frustrating, it seem like they have been working on a cure forever. Millions? More like billions. There has been progress, it used to be a death sentence, some people beat it now.

LOL My mother in law bought me a chair with a rod holder like the first or second year we were married, ???????? what`s this thing? a fishing chair! LOL I got them in the boat! what am I going to do with this? A 150 dollar watch one year, LOL it`s still in a drawer. LOL I know what I need dear you don`t, forget the gifts. The only ofners I have met are Deg and his daughter Ruth, he is a nice old guy! LOL and is daughter is great! There ya go hammered from the south side Deg! LOL Way too many choices to list, way to much water to cover! The mission might be fishin, but it`s supposed to be fun!

OEM parts are expensive, even mechanics that don`t use them usually mark up the price of parts they buy, 25 to 50 percent. There may be a slight difference in quality though. Dealer`s labor rates are over the top, the labor involved(time) can cost more than the part. Some radiator shops also rebuilt gas tanks, reseal with some sort of coating after the hole are patched.
