  1. Don`t waste time trying to catch your own!
  2. LOL Roy! The ads? http://www.oldmilwaukee.com/
  3. Nice fat pike! Dang them condos look better than some of the houses down here!
  4. Do we get the subscriptions the same place we find the jumla`s?
  5. Terry do they have TSC farm stores near you? Grade 8 bolts are a lot stronger than a grade 2 or 5, a grade 8 in that thing, if it didn`t already have one might not break when you need it most. Other places like a nut and bolt(fastner suppy) will have them too.
  6. LOL Terry, my neighbor and former partner for most of my bass tournies also fishes crappie tournies, I was always kind of amazed at the distances and things he went thru to fish them.
  7. Bike? 2 guys one bike? I think I`m in love? No just frozen! Just kidding! Nice report, except for the snow and ice!
  8. :worthy:
  9. LOL PikeHunter, we want your water, but don`t want to have to bring chainsaws to cut it!
  10. A strong south west wind actually pushes the water out of some of the bays off Lake Erie here, dropping water level affects the fishes bite. East wind usually sucks, means something bad with the weather is happening. Most of the time I just had to deal with it like everyone else. Mild stable weather is a plus!
  11. LOL Wayne, momma don`t let me out on days like this, as slow as I move I could freeze walking to the car. I don`t feel my feet well any way, they might freeze and I might not know. Both my kids schools called today and said schools will be closed Monday due to the weather conditions, doesn`t look good for Tuesday either. Moe if you make the run to warm weather(glen`s) stop and warm up here on the way, wood burners going! LOL Stay warm watch your pets, bad days for them to be out too!
  12. Glad to hear Chuck is doing well enough to get out!
  13. LOL Lew, ya trucks used to suck much more than today. LOL ours always had roofs!, getting a heater or defroster that would keep that big windshield clear seemed to be a real problem for the engineers.
  14. After last year mine is to fish this year, I am in a holding pattern. Fish, swim or drown I will do something!
  15. Ya Lew! I can`t imagine trying to fight a fire in weather like this, I have seen some pictures though. It was cold on the truck docks, but at least dry! LOL Dan, one of the car dealerships nearby always advertises as in Tropical Medina because it`s south of Cleveland, not far enough south today! Warm side of town?
  16. LOL Tom, yes banana belt! Considering I could probably make it down to visit with Glenn in less time than getting to you. Well a normal person could, I need my naps. My first GMC Safari van had the block heater on it, nice, heat as soon as you start it up.
  17. Winter took it`s time giving us serious cold, 0 f this morning with a windshield of 22 below. The Penn State groundhog and Buckeye Chuck didn`t see their shadows so an early spring. Buddies bass fished until January 6th, a first.
  18. Thanks Glen!
  19. Hot water will work if the lock is frozen, but it becomes cold water then frozen water. Alcohol probably a better bet. You can also heat the key with a torch, wear gloves, the heat from the key will transfer to the locks tumblers and unfreeze them.
  20. Ya the number of ball bearing really means nothing, if you stick a hundred of them in there and they are poor quality all you got is a number to sell it with. Inexpensive outfits with decent quality? Casting, Abu 4600 or 4601 C-3 will handle most freshwater species, not a good choice for salmon or skis, maybe not if your slamming big pike on a regular basis. Not a lot of problems with that reel and reasonably priced. Spinning, Shimano Sahara 2500, same reasons as above. Rods, Berkley Lighting rods, Diawa Heartland, Shimano Convergence, Ugly sticks, serviceable and won`t break the bank.
  21. Sad to hear, not the kind of news I like to see on TV here from Canada.
  22. Where do we find the free skin?
  23. Go Browns? or the local name Clowns!
  24. Can`t say for sure about marine diesels, the tractor trailers were bothered by water in the fuel a lot. Don`t know for sure the cause of it getting in the fuel, but possibly condensation in the tanks. It was usually an easy fix, change the fuel filters and put some additive to the fuel to remove the moisture, sometimes drain the fuel and junk out and change the filters. The fuel filters on the trucks were as big or bigger than an automotive oil filter and change the same way, screw on. It might be an easy fix? Perkins diesels are pretty common, I drove some forklifts that had 4 cylinder Perkins diesels, pretty reliable engines.
  25. My house is all electric, I got my new one this fall thru the power company, the old one lasted 16 years. http://www.lmre.org/waterheaters.asp don`t know if your power companies have programs like this.
