  1. LOL Wayne, nice work, nice tools! Here is a link http://www.hgrindustrialsurplus.com/ dream on? With all the companies that have closed, moved out of this area there is a lot of cool stuff sitting around!
  2. Some thing doesn`t seem right with the info, like mentioned the OK registration numbers also cause concerns. 17 foot boat with a 90, basically a bare bones package, but like 1/3 the price of new for a 3 year old? Strange? http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2005-SKE...-SX170-91561981 http://www.strikebass.com/ccboat7.htm
  3. One of my favorite times to fish was after a longish dry spell 5 or 6 days and a front moving in(rain), the bass would go nuts sometimes. The period after the front was tougher though for while, needed to stabilize. I hate to go fish in the morning when a front came thru overnight. A lot of times no choice though, I didn`t stop fishing, just tried to adjust. Lows mean smaller and slower to me. More attention to bites because there may not be as many. Make the ones you do get count.
  4. Great pictures and nice report!
  5. I bought one years ago, got the cable caught in the hinge of the bow mount trailering the boat home from a trip and cut the cable in half. A fix didn`t seem to work well so I replaced it. Older model transducers may be hard to find, even if it is a good sonar unit. The price of factory replacements seems high, but something I want quality with.
  6. When I was in between wives like 4 or 5 days a week late March thru November, a lot of it was after work in the dark! Learned to like night fishing! Now a lot less, like once, still fished a lot until illness hit.
  7. Just me but I like to see the cuts of meat I am buying before I pay for them. LOL We had one of those places that sold the package deals near me, key word was had. We bought one of their sampler packages like 15 years ago, the sample was enough to convince us not to go back. K-Mart here has t-bone, strip steaks, and rib eyes on sale all the time for 4.99 a pound and I get to pick them.
  8. You guys need to start a campaign, pressure by the sports fishermen here got the Commercial fisher mens walleye licenses bought out. Write letters to your public officials, email them. Far more money is put into the economy by guys out fishing than a commercial fisherman, but getting everyone to complain to the leaders can be tough. They did it here in Ohio.
  9. Just another Honest businessman? The greed factor.

  11. Glad your OK Connie, the one map I saw looked a little close to Cookeville. Windy, a lot of rain and a light show but just some small stream flooding around here. Ya they did a good job with the college, pictures of everything looked bad though.
  12. Latest CNN is saying 45 dead in 4 states, but not everything has been checked yet. Black Tuesday! Glenn, glad your ok! Connie? have we heard from you yet!
  13. Sad to hear it Dan.
  14. I have to agree with Cliff, different jobs different equipment. No experience with snowblowers though, I use farmers, or call someone with a pickup and plow. Much bigger drive though and it`s gravel. Gas station by me, an open all nighter, has guys that plow leave business cards there. I just make a call, 20-30 bucks to do mine depending on how much snow. Better than the wife and kids trying to shovel.
  15. I use stren, pick a color clear, original, green.
  16. Ford powered? That`s just wrong! 63 grand? = 3 decent boats 2 and a tow vehicle, a whole lot of gas! er, this decade? Cool, out of my price range though! Bring back the 67 chevy deuce with the new vette engine.
  17. Personal choice item, very hard to say that what would suit me would be good for you. I have some case, boker, victor inox, but wind up carrying a cheap Japanese made pocket knife most of the time. Loss or breakage? No real loss, dang thing won`t break though, like 25 years. Real hard to find quality in some styles, like to find a out the front with a 2 1/2 inch blade.
  18. Steve, I have never seen them in any tackle shops down here. Carp fishing has some interest here, but more popular with the commercial fishermen. LOL 1 good Carp = 4 good walleye, er pickeral.
  19. LOL, certainly don`t think I am a saint! I just like to pick my spots for it! I am more careful about it than the wife and kids though, dealt with the public and caution was needed at times.
  20. LOL don`t the mosquitos come out above 32 f up there?
  21. Photoz here is info on them from a place in the UK http://www.dinsmores.co.uk/viewsubcategory.asp?subId=50 no patent issues?
  22. Dang Corey! where did you get the brown`s helmet?
  23. LOL Lew, didn`t even notice the big Johnson on it! One I was looking at was a 182 cmx cvx or something with a 90 merc, just the health issues didn`t make it sense to go with it.
  24. LOL Gerritt! and I was a truck driver!
