  1. Put me in the boat with Jigger, GB, lots of water, lots of species, lots of different water types and scenery, and some good sized fish.
  2. Bait! I like them in plastic and Junebug!
  3. Big for a Fox, southern fox? Inbreeding with coyotes?
  4. LOL Lew, you walk a lot better than I do, the wife just locks me up indoors on bad days to protect me from myself. Dang brain and legs aren`t following the same map. Not a pretty picture Gerritt! Ya`ll take care!
  5. It`s supposed to hit 50 f here today near Cleveland, then drop to 17 f tonight, wind gusts predicted up to 60 MPH high tomorrow 20 f, rain today snow over night. Not much but a quick temp drop might put black ice on the roads. May be headed your way?
  6. Can`t really help with location other than the ideas mentioned. The access to mine is exposed(lids). Just makes poor sense to me to bury them, how can it be cleaned out if you can`t get at it (buried) makes an expensive deal out of simple repairs like replacing a 25 dollar float switch on a pump.
  7. Another very good program was on the History Channel last nite, Crude. A history and future projections for oil. A topic, that whether we like it or not affects us all. I don`t know when it will be on again. Fact, LOL Mine, the price of oil has gone up to ten times the cost in my driving history, roughly 40 years. 30 cents a gallon to 3 bucks a gallon, picture the next 40 years, increased demand, increasing population, diminishing reserves. The program covers a lot of ground.
  8. I think I have an old maximiser unit in the barn, don`t think I ever had it hooked up to anything. Using an electric trolling motor depends on a lot of things, wind, obviously you will be on the pedal more to control position, wave action from boat traffic, same deal. How big of a hurry you are in, if I am familier with a lake and have a good idea which spots tend to hold fish I don`t move around as much. In close quarters around boat docks flipping I have the motor turmed down low so not to spook fish as much. I also try to plan an approach to an area, cut the gas motor and drift into a spot using the electric only when I feel I have to.
  9. Fishing contests? Can you count by one to your legal limit?
  10. Probably great June thru September, then too cold!
  11. Warning! What goes in has to come out? Plan accordingly!
  12. They are still talking about building a Cabela`s in my area, either Brunswick or Wadsworth Ohio, they are shopping for the right tax breaks from those cities.
  13. Switched to bags a long time ago, heavy bags, and speed bags(light) grab and go, easy to plug in water specific tackle. Some guys whine about carrying heavy bags, not me! I let Deg and Phil do it!
  14. LOL Connie, I use the softgels too, seems to me they come from an oily fish, probably have to squeeze a walleye pretty hard to hit oil. Pierce one with a hook and slide it in a tube bait for scent sometime, seen guys do it.
  15. LOL Fisherman, haven`t been there since like 2004, so no clue. Didn`t need any help from the store dudes when I did go though, pretty much had a plan walking in. Jann`s Netcraft in Toledo rounded out the day!
  16. LOL Connie. Like he says the omega 3 and 6 fish oil caps may be an alternative, don`t burp for a while afterwards though!. Sardines in mustard sauce taste like mustard! When I was lifting weights I used to eat 3 or 4 cans of tuna a day, sometimes wash it down with a can of salmon and a salad. Just something to get used too.
  17. Used to make the trip there every year, great store. BPS not far up the road in Auburn Hills. A shopping doubleheader!
  18. Dang Raf and PF stateside? a few bars of Yankee Doodle Dandy?
  19. Wow! But I bet he still considers himself a sportsman!
  20. LOL Glenn actually I can`t sit, or walk on water.
  21. Not really a walleye fisherman on purpose, more into bass, walleye by accident. No favorite color, I try to let the fish tell me what they want. I do believe color can make a difference, size of bait also. Probably the most success on a white jig head and white grub(Berkley power grub) Black jig head and sassy shad in white with a black back. Bait fish patterns some success with black jighead and black grub(Leech pattern?). Generally 2 to 4 inch baits and 1/8 to 1/4 ounce jigheads.
  22. Live in Ohio and used to fish, actually wasn`t to bad at it.
  23. LOL TJ, we didn`t think you were a deadbeat like the rest of us!
  24. for service in French, press 9. Your call is important to us." LOL Roy, come to the US we can probably fit you in at number 3? You might have to bid on the spot though?
  25. Happy birthday kids! Roy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAIX9K9JPYE
