  1. Put yourself in the shoes of any one of those families who lost one of their children needlessly because of this. Is 8 years enough? Was 8 years enough for Marco Muzzo? typically only 2/3 of se sentence get served with time reduced for good behavior. In one case you have a truck driver who knowingly drove distracted and in the other case you have a car driver who drove impaired. The truck driver did not simply blow a stop sign, he was not even looking at the road signs. Death by vehicle penalties are much different than those imposed for true murder at the hand of the accused. In my opinion 8 years was not enough and yes deport him, we don't need people like that living in such a great country when they have no respect for our laws. Muzzo will end up driving again at some point in his life, too bad nothing else can be done with him having been born here. He has no respect for human life. He had all the money in the world and was too arrogant to take a taxi or limo home from the airport knowing himself how impaired he really was.
  2. Interesting title to this thread "smoked chub", it could mean many different things! ?
  3. Moth balls work well and the smell goes away after a few days. It's just tough getting their little legs apart to harvest them!
  4. It will be a super supper!
  5. You do have a Wifeler!
  6. For my Echo I have the hedge trimmer, chain saw and a pole extension. The total reach is 11 feet plus my reach, it is awesome! There are many accessories for Echo and Stihl. If you live in the west end they are on Wilson about 1km east of Weston Rd. You can see them from the 401 and 400 interchange.
  7. Dave, If your Stihl has the option to change attachments like my Echo you can get the attachment from Kooy Brothers in Toronto. Click Here
  8. You may end up fishing the outer islands for bass like you do in the summer because fishing in the Basin in the fall is really tough.
  9. Just a suggestion, i always keep a spare plug in the glove box of my boat.
  10. That's just nuts!
  11. Warm enough to swim over 65 degrees but a bit of a shock for sure.
  12. Hey Dave, I was on Georgian Bay yesterday and it is still 73. How warm did your lake get in July?
  13. Is the mystical place with the voices called Stonerhenge Chris?
  14. Don't buy any lottery tickets!
  15. Terry, I resisted saying the same thing in my original post!
  16. I would stick with your current site and put moth balls in a throw away dish inside the front and back of the boat. I do this every year at a barn that has lots of critters and never had an issue.
  17. Back from the Moon, for my annual trip. This time i was there with two other friends Warren (aka The Worlds Greatest Fisherman) who has the same name as me and Bruce. We went up last Friday and set up camp around lunch time. In the afternoon we went out to the bay and caught just a couple of average size smallies. The evening was not much better. Saturday was rainy until around 2:00 in the afternoon and by then we were desperate to get out fishing. Not much luck again the afternoon. After dinner it was fairly windy but we took a chance and headed out to the open water again to my "Platinum Spot". We were not disappointed even in the 2 - 3 foot swells. We were catching one after another and even had a really good size pike up to the boat which Warren figured was around 15 pounds. On Sunday we moved back out into the open water again and moved from island to island catching smallies. It was a good way to end what was otherwise a slow weekend of fishing. We did have a great time at the campsite in spite of fire ban. We did get a good laugh at this on the thunder box: Comfort! Warren's Best My Best
  18. I always thought that lake could produce large Muskies
  19. Why would you knock it down? Nobody should be poaching.
  20. A great post with family!
  21. Yes Wayne posted this back in the spring. Great news I hope they have the batter recipe.
  22. The 7th picture down reminds me of this old movie clip from Leslie Nielsen. Link
  23. Funky looking meteor on the grass there TJ.
  24. Even if it is mint, age still comes into play, it is 15 years old after all. Can he share the marina quote with you to prove it? Is the skeg in mint condition? If not that is a big red flag. I searched the web and could not find one for sale but maybe search for similar boats to figure out if it is a good deal. Another make but similar and at a higher price. Click here
  25. Just don't feed them any quackers Lew!
