The challenge began Friday night and ended just over an hour or so ago. (This was my very first time painting...and like we women say after giving birth...NEVER AGAIN) I made an absolute mess of the ceiling....I broke a glass vase, 2 long stem glass flowers and a ceramic candle holder. But the biggest disappointment was when it was time to remove the painter's tape...the bleeping paint peeled...one wall is toast...and I figure that I will just go with Crown Moulding near the ceiling to hide the mess. A friend was 3 walls too late in suggesting an exacto (spelling) knife, which did help. Anyhow...I am giving you a before and after little looksie.... hhhaaaahhhhaaaaa....too funny. Well trained animals are amazing...look at the great hunter in BC who together with his "killer dog" managed to find the evil one who murdered his three little kids....part of me wishes he would have allowed his trained dog to rip the creep to shreds. Cruelty to animals...like dog fights...I personally have a hard time with. Educate me here for a sec...with a Rodeo, what cruelty is there?

Welll....I am sitting here...kinda sorta...as my whole body is aching....I challenged myself and painted the ceiling in my living room, dining room, and kitchen...and I completely made a mess...but I don't care...just another touch of me haha Tonight, I filled in nail holes..tomorrow it's sanding, then priming, then painting the walls in the living room and dining room only for now...honestly...I took on more than I can chew....and anyone who can have a steady hand to "cut" should be a surgeon!! Short people should not paint.

sigh*.....some believe that on the "other side" we will all either go forward or backward to the age that Jesus died...32....can you imagine....wwwwooooooohhhhooooooo ... no death for me yet please...too much left to do...but I sure can't wait for the day that I just don't give a carp...may even get a tattoo on my wringles...hehehe...and pretend that I have lost my mind....ya, carp my pants and all...with a cig hanging out of my mouth and flatulating everywhere...what a treat my boys are in for...

Glad to hear you have a home Give yourself a good year or more to get all the "bugs out"....most of all...enjoy yourself. Have dealt with RB in the past when building our home...no other bank would touch us unless we had 50% of the money upfront...RB was satisfied with viewing the "floor plans"...says, yep looks like a house to me...and we were off. Presently I deal with Scotia Bank...and like Cliff...the young woman I dealt with took excellent care of me and still does. Isn't shopping fun lol

I have to agree with Daplumma...which is quite sad though cuz those are really nice, tasteful tattoos...the single B&W Marlin is my favourite, but the colours on the others are very nice and well done.
