I bought a new boat in '09 and the tongue weight was just a bit too much and the engine didn't really have the power to pull that heavy boat for long distances so I decided to get rid of it. I've been driving those yuppie trucks ever since LOL

I bought a new one in '96 and drove it for 4 years, then went over to the dark side for a few years and in 2005 I bought another new Safari. Both were great vehicles, both for comfort and reliability and neither ever needed more than basic maintenance. Really happy with them.

Hard to see the station wagon on the edge of the picture but this is my Dad hooking up his 15' cedarstrip to his '53 Ford. Don't know if you can make it out or not but the boat didn't sit ON the trailer, it hung UNDER it.

She actually followed me, I saw her a couple hundred feet earlier and snapped this 2nd picture then I walked away and she went thru the trees and came out again and when I took the 1st picture she was only 50' away. Just a big ole friendly girl LOL

They're just big pussy cats really and if you talk nice to them they'll even pose for a picture for you.

Can't imagine anybody is suffering much from the Winter Blah's today with this gorgeous weather. I went for a 2 hour hike this morning, came home and had lunch then went back out and spent 2 more hours moving snow around. Still didn't want to come in but I ran outta snow to shovel LOL

Just curious as to what you'll use to power your fire pump Dave, will it run off a gas powered generator or do you have hydro at your place ?

I saw a show on TV recently and they said Koalas instinctively climb as high in the trees as possible when there's danger so the poor little guys don't stand a chance.

Even the critters of the forest enjoy the finer things in life LOL

A good friend of ours has a brother living near Canberra Australia who took these pictures from his front porch. He said the fire is starting to move away from his house but threatens some near-by towns. Sure would be a scary place to live right now.

I had one at the backdoor yesterday too Wayne but the picture didn't come out well

This was a horrible tragedy but received very little coverage on the news, yet the crash with Kobe Bryant is still talked about constantly on both Canadian & US stations. Sad when similar terrible things receive such different amounts of interest.

Best of luck in the new venture, nothing worse than working somewhere your not happy.

Mentioned on the news this morning that one body was recovered a couple K downstream but now they've called off the search for the others. Evidently it's a pretty strong current thru there.

No fish that day Wayne, but good times as always on the water.

I just picked up some snow repellent yesterday and sprayed in on my shovels and it worked great today. Didn't use the snowblower yet but sprayed it also and will giver a try tomorrow. Loved my SKEETER and had it for 10 years without an issue on boat or motor. It was a great musky fishing boat and we saw plenty of action together. But when I decided to retire from fishing I sold all my gear including the boat and this was the last day I had her and the new owner picked her up just after this picture was taken. Kind of a sad day really.

What a miserable day, pounding down rain then we're sposed to get 8" of heavy snow on top of it. Middle of winter I wish it would just stay cold LOL

Forecast for this area is also calling for 6-8" of snow tomorrow and another couple inches on Sunday

OK, I certainly remember the V-rod sale but just didn't remember the name but my pooch was also named Marvin so maybe that's where I got lost hahaha Gimme a break, I'm not so young anymore LOL
