  1. I've read many reports on different boards about chargers being left on constantly, overheating, catching fire and destroying everything. I now only plug them in when required. Overly cautious perhaps, but at least it's safe(er)
  2. Always sad to read about these accidents.

That's a great comparison picture Joey and personally, I've always preferred farm fields to apartment buildings but unfortunately, that's progress. But then again I'm old enough to remember Ontario before the 401 was built LOL
  4. When you need to learn about flags, you go to an expert https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&sqi=2&ved=0CBwQtwIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DXl12Sp1KiEk&ei=EgSfU5uACM2pyATxhoCoCQ&usg=AFQjCNH6T-typa16ta1XkTgOZYMaNXiesQ
  5. It can also mean disrespect for the country the flag represents Paul.
  6. Very nice Norm, extra mobility is a great thing.
  7. Don't know if it signifies the end of anything Dave, but it's not right. Something I've seen that's much worse is a waterfront home on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River where a guy flies the Canadian flag upside down on a regular basis. I haven't been there for a couple years but I did see it several years in a row.
  8. Thanks for that Mike, a very enjoyable read about an excellent trip.
  9. Looks like an excellent way to spend a day !!
  10. I have no problem promoting good gear Rob, I just wish I got paid for it
  11. Good to hear Cliff & glad their working out for you. Wish I'd known you liked them so much as I don't use them anymore and gave a bunch away a couple years back, I could have sent them down to you.
  12. Good to hear you got the problem solved, plus found a new shop that you can trust.
  13. Suicks are an old classic that work as well today as they ever did and the muskies never tire of them. I remember taking a friend out a couple years ago who was new to musky fishing. I suggested a few baits to buy including a Suick. He tried everything and nothing worked so he put on his new Suick and got bit on the very 1st cast. It then became one of his favorite musky baits
  14. Atta boy Cliff, always good when you set the bar a bit higher !!
  15. It's been bad for alot of folks this spring, sure hope your friends all get through it OK
  16. I've got a big gravel driveway and use your method to control the weeds and your right, it works very well. Only difference with mine, I use a cup of regular table salt rather than epsom, and heat the vinegar before I apply it.
  17. As I mentioned in another thread, I just picked up a pair of Group 27 deep cycle Kirklands from Costco for $95 each. Never tried them before but lotsa guys around here like them so I figured I'd give em a go.
  18. Yeah, it never hurts as much if no one see's the screw up LOL
  19. I was by the gas station just a couple days ago and and there was a big tandem tanker filling the tanks, so I'm sure he had plenty on hand when the price sky-rocketed yesterday. Always amazes me too how prices are so different from place to place. We've been around $1.25 for awhile now while Toronto was around $1.39. Yesterday, our's went up .13 but Toronto only goes up .03. The radio says the jump has alot to do with what's happening right now in Iraq, but if that was the case, why wouldn't everywhere jump by the same amount ?? Perhaps it's time for me to start filling up over at the local Curve Lake reserve where it's a whole bunch cheaper .
  20. I was listening to a Toronto radio station today and they said the city would hit an all time high gas price today of....I think....$1.41.9 and it's expected to go even higher in the near future.
  21. After the last 11 years, this Liberal win is just hard to understand.
  22. Sure looks like fun times Rick with alot of good fishing too.
  23. I think Bancroft is usually one of the cheapest places around
