  1. The problem is that a strike will probably not hurt Coca-Cola in the least. They're already in 10 Provinces with 6,300 employees. Hell, we have 2500 more members than that <---- That was supposed to be a funny. My feeling is that the membership should have negotiated...but hey, that's just my opinion.
  2. 5 or 7, that is a seriously nice fish. Thanks for sharing the pic.
  3. If your heart is set on it, have a reputable marine mechanic check it over.
  4. Scratches on a 2004 is normal. Is that the red one with the Yammy?
  5. Chad, congrats to you! Now you'll have no trouble choosing Christmas and BD gifts for the wife. With her new calling in life, the wife will need a tractor and a chainsaw.
  6. Very very nice Simon! You just impressed the heck out of me. Jack will grow up with a rich past. Just wonderful.
  7. A very useful safety item to have indeed. What's important also, especially with a family, is to take them out to a quiet bay and go for a swim and have each member of the family use the ladder at least once. Using a boarding ladder for the first time under duress is not the easiest way to learn.
  8. Yeah and even the spot is recognizable. You should have at least 'shopped' the background.

    A nice red head

    Just beautiful.
  10. I was thinking of getting some of that stuff. Great segue BTW.
  11. Have a watch at this!
  12. Beauty report Joey! What can I say about your photography......just awesome. Looking forward to seeing you guys in July.
  13. Super report Rich and Patsy! Sorry I could not make this one but I'll get the late July shift. Really glad that you have been well treated by the mechanical types in your travels here. You got some nice fish this time too! Looking forward to seeing you guys!
  14. Starting threads like this one will probably do it...it won't last long.
  15. That's a fish and a half Kevin! And félicitations Sylvain, that mamma makes you look like a 98 lb weakling...like me!
  16. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  17. Well caught and well tied, Christopher.
  18. Not everyone's table scraps are the same eh?
  19. Yup, I have a big bullet proof Napoleon BBQ made in Barrie. Mine is only 4 years old, I use it year round and it always starts on the first click. I probably will never need to buy another BBQ. The next time you go buy a 'stainless steel' BBQ, look at the specs and bring a fridge magnet with you. Also, bear in mind that a high end BBQ that you buy at CTC (for example) will not be the same unit even though they look identical, as the one you'll buy at a specialized store.
  20. Great for car windows. Not so great for Goretex.
  21. I hadn't seen that stuff before. Good find, thanks.
  22. Thanks for the report. Some beauty fish there for sure. You kinda look happy in those pictures.
  23. Great report Christopher. You certainly had enough to keep you busy. Chris beat me to it on the trip into the drink thing. Here's a tip. If you don't like Velcro, you can go shoeless...it'd be safer. Or, you can do what I do....uni to uni one lace to the other ...they'll never become undone. Make sure both ends are on the same shoe though or it defeats the purpose.
  24. Neither have I, Bob. As for grass ( sub species of redfin) and redfin, there are supposed to be a few, very few on the southern shores of lakes Michigan, Erie and Ontario however, due to their small size ( one pound maximum) I suspect that most fisherfolks would mistake them for juvenile pike.
