  1. Raf, if you have a WalMart close by you can get an Everstart ....they used to be called Energizer. They're excellent batteries at a really good price.
  2. Dekas are made by East Penn MFG. Kirklands are made by Johnson Controls.
  3. Group sizes (24, 27, 31) for batteries pertains to the physical size of a battery. This does not necessarily give a larger battery more amp/hours.
  4. Sounds like you had a great day, me brudder. Glad you and Simon hit it off. Hope things are shaping up a bit better for you and yours, Simon.
  5. Congrats to your son for big fish of the derby. Those are framin' pics BTW.
  6. I hear ya. I don't like being tied to someone elses' schedule though.
  7. Excellent fish, Rich. You probably didn't want to leave after that one eh?
  8. Also check out CCR (Canadian Canoe Routes)
  9. Don't make it out to be too banal, David. Some of the adventures were kind of interesting. I mean sharing a urinal stall with Gordon Sinclair at CFRB was kind of a crowning achievement for you wasn't it? And tell me...how's the fishing been? It surely must have improved with the gear upgrades. Pairing that brown rod with the grey and black reel? That was crazy avant garde! I assume you're no longer working for the liberal party?
  10. Have a good family week. A word of warning...this might not be a good time to visit Bernie.
  11. Big reel....wonder if he gets TIRED?
  12. No matter how hard we try to keep up with things, we always forget some of them. Well, I do anyway. Today is my friend's birthday...Sir David Cameron, AKA Canadave. Bud, wherever you are, I hope you're having an excellent day and that you and Cheryl are in good health and happy. Be well my friend.
  13. Glad they went above and beyond for you Joey. I buy from them regularly and have always had excellent service.
  14. I wouldn't try it in a bass boat. Rent or borrow a good, stable pontoon. He will fish more comfortably and the peace of mind for everyone else will be worth it. While your goal is noble, MacGyvering with someone's life is just something that would scare the hell out of me.
  15. If one (HUB) is bad, replace both at the same time as they are probably the same age. In fact, the best is to buy 3...use the third to mount your spare on and you'll be golden.
  16. Oh good...if it still works, keep using it.
  17. Don't even drive around. Trailer to Tobermory and ferry to South Baymouth. I'm surprised you'd even put this on here.
  18. You can probably get rid of the blue unless you have electric trailer brakes. Man that's a bad looking plug!
  19. Great report...thanks for sharing that. The joy in the young folks' faces is priceless.
  20. You might also want to consider that a multi-bank charger will only charge to as much as the weakest battery in the group can take. That's why it's preferable to replace all batteries in the group at the same time. I once had to boost my starter battery with one of my TM batteries to get going. The only way I was able to get the TM batteries back up to equal status was to take the weak one off the onboard circuit and charge it separately...then put both on the onboard system.
  21. I agree with Rick. I'm curious though about how much water could possibly come over the gunwales to be able to get into the tank.
  22. Call me sentimental but it used to be my bottle opener.
  23. Here's a home video of some of the destruction.
  24. No bodies. The intensity of the heat and the force of the many explosions scattered whatever bits of teeth or bone or jewelery there may have been.
  25. Thanks for the news, Bud.
