  4. Happy Birthday there Joe! Do y'all sing Happy Birthday in Cajun? Have a great day, Bubba.
  5. You did good, Sam. That's a beautiful report and I for one am glad that you're a member of this great community. Even if you're not on my team, keep'em coming......all the best of luck to you.
  6. That certainly is a beautiful piece of work, Cliff. The best muskie trolling rod I have was custom made for me by Spiel. The pic certainly doesn't do it justice but it really is a super rod....it's a 7'7" G.Loomis blank.
  7. The lower the number on the type usually means better floatation....Type 2 is a near shore system whereas a type 5 is a special service system The 'F' designations are simply the type of inflation device used. Re-arming kits are normally just the cylinder that needs replacing...... when they show green, you're good to go but when the indicator is red, it must be replaced. 11. Dat was the first woman I ever fell in love with and she had to pick up Burt Reynolds. I reckon her eyesight and judgment went on her....... Al Hirt was the best at the time...in later years, he developped a few problems....we all do.
  12. Things will be fine in a moment. They just want you to feel the pinch a little before they tell you that they now have lots of fuel for everyone at $1.10/L. Everyone will feel much better then. I can't believe I didn't get into that business a few years ago.
  13. Only tip I can give is to get married early enough in the day, that way if it doesn't work out, you will not have spoiled the whole day. And for the rest of you who are serious about marrying that gem of a partner, get it done, never look back and it'll always get better as the years pass.
  14. It's not only there, Paul. In my own backyard it's as bad as anywhere else although lotsa folks like to find worst places...helps make them feel good. We are now paying for our ME generation and I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. People are no longer held responsible for their actions.
  15. And the man even gets up at a decent time in the morning too!
  16. Sokay Tom, you can tell us about your dinner date with Tiny Tim another time.

  18. I was blown away by the people he has met. (see 'brush with greatness' thread) You sir, are one of those individuals with whom I would have lunch and a great chat afterwards.
  19. Has everybody got a crotch fetish in here???
  20. Great pics Lew. Glad you had a good time. Both Ottawa and Kingston rank right up there in Canada's really great historical cities.
