  1. You're right Dano. Joey PM'd me suggesting I remove the pic. I thought it was funny but you're right. (By the way, that wasn't really me, I'm much taller than that.)
  2. You forgot to mention Canadave. Mike, this place is like home. Some folks leave for a while then return. Nauti has her own board to look after. It's not a terribly bad thing that someone takes a two week break. I think that most folks appreciate your concern but hey.....it's the way it is. Did you notice how many new members we've gotten to meet in the last two weeks?
  3. Thanx Dax. I wasn't too sure where Lake O was. And yes, technically you're right. Practically speaking, people don't fish Lake O for muskie in great numbers. That's why I'm guessing that the next WR won't come from there.
  4. Beauty for sure! WTG! Who took the pic?
  5. Well, I'm certainly no expert but I KNOW one thing. The next genuine world record muskie will be caught in Canada. There are only a handful of spots on the map that can harbour that kind of a beast. Here's my short list in no particular order. St-Lawrence River (this is one of the bodies of water where Americans have a chance at it.) Ottawa River Georgian Bay Lake St Clair Niagara....not sure... Lake of the Woods ( another shot for an American record) There are a couple of others...maybe. Nipissing is a possibility...Lake Ontario, I don't think so.
  6. I'd like to pin one too but the rules clearly state : "Get together threads may be requested to be pinned, but no longer than 30 days before the event. " There's nothing stopping us from discussing it all we want on the board. I'm looking forward to it.

    Hello

    Welcome aboard
  8. Even a PFD would be useless on that. I would not be comfortable on that ship. I wonder if Allstate would insure that. I'm glad that thing can't make it to the Great Lakes......think of all the invasive species you could fit in a ballast that size.
  9. Nice looking stuff, Bud. I've been making my own jigs lately....not that purdy but they work well for me.
  10. Thanks for the report, CC. You didn't do it in Caps so I assume it was a small stream. WTG, Bud.
  11. I've called them "Ra-PAL-as" for 40 years. A few people have corrected me lately. Ask me if I care. I still fish wit minnas n' woims. It'll be spring tonight....that might help a little.
  12. 37%
  13. Great report, Bucktail. I'd reconsider hitting the ice this week though. Be safe.
  14. Ok, I'm in for a bit.
  15. TILLER!
  16. When DouG fishes with me he always sings "She broke my heart so I busted her jaw". Also another diddy called " Nevermind the night, help me make it through the door".
  17. Let me know when.
  18. I just stick mine in the drawer and close it...all works fine.
  19. Easton, check out luremaking.com. They have excellent service, you won't be disappointed. And welcome to team 10!
  20. Keep using the name 'Eastern steelheaders' cause your other name 'Me.inc' is gone. This community is here to build friendships and to share. If you have a problem with that then, hey, you can always find another board for yourself...temporarily. Be well....
  21. Congrats Tony. You're one of the stabilizing forces in this community.
  22. They're all the same outfit. Don't go to Yahoo for that, they have the same issues and worse.
  23. They are absolutely useless. Do some research on any of the browsers.
  24. Paul, I'm sure Brian will do his best and do very well this year again. He also has Casting for a Cure (with Dave Mercer) as incentive so I KNOW he'll do well, God love'im.
  25. It really is difficult to answer correctly without knowing the colour of your slacks n' socks let alone which ties we have to work with. There's also the question of PFD colour and style. (while wearing the black and white shirt, you MUST wear amber glases.)
