You hit paydirt, Peps. Brian is a champion. I was chatting with him several years ago and found out quite by accident that he knew two of my sons. If Brian offers advice it's because he knows of what he speaks.
Great report, Dara. I hear about the place enough but I've never been. Perhaps not as many fish as you had anticipated but certainly quality fish. That 10 mile run to the falls....how much water is coming over there? Thanks for sharing.
It's a great offer Cuzza but I'd bet large that any offers going one way or the other would be going via email or personal message and that's the way it should be anyhow.
I have no experience with these guys Dan but maybe they could be your starting point. They are in Huntsville. : http://www.cottagevacations.com/index.html
For most it would be a good trade. I like all kinds of game including moose but if I had the choice between the two, I'd go for the salmon or trout. Not frozen...FRESH! But you can still let me know when the meatloaf will be ready.
Never had problems with Bombers but I've had more than a few lip problems with Ripplin' Redfins. Lips never broke they just came clean out. They were decent baits but I have never purchased another.
Just a parentheses here...as I posted the pic of the 50 pound lake trout it occurred to me that that fish could possibly be a triploid. I know that many states are heavily involved in triploid production in order to boost the economics of the fishing industry. Washington State is a leader in this. So, for those of you who know about these things, would the laker pictured above fit the description?
Won't tell you how much I paid for a 700B... it's embarrassing. I feel like I owe the dude a few more bucks...
Also got a bunch of Cardiffs, not a high quality reel but a decent reel, all lefties, perfect for me, all $64 a piece.
I'm happy.
