Brian, you know that I'm a tiller guy but if I was to want something else, it would be a center console. I've always liked your boat but you've done a super job getting it rebuilt. As for your motor having urinary problems, my last motor used to do that once in a while and the best thing I found to clear it up was an 18" length of .080" lawn trimmer cord. Stuff it down the hole as it's running.... Keep up the good work. She's looking super!

Sounds like a karma thing to me, Paul. I was invited to the opening of the Brossard store and I still haven't managed to visit. Glad your wife is keen on fishing...makes it a lot easier. The next step will be to teach her how to use the motor (if she doesn't already know)...it's an important safety thing but mostly, it'll also give YOU first crack at the fish being at the front.

Sorry I can't help you with a product Jay but, if I were you and I had a little time to get this done, I'd be tempted to contact a chemical engineer type dude for some of the advesive companies out there like 3M and others. They could steer you to an existing product or a recipe. I also have a hunch that the product would be free for a chance at using your experience as an advertising tool for themselves. It would/could be a high profile example of their product's strength under extreme conditions....just a thought.

I've told this story a dozen times here but....a long time ago, I had an Eagle Ultra or whatever it was. I had converted it to being portable. I was mostly running it when I was in places where I could not bring my own boat in. The security system in the house used a 12V, 7.5A battery backup plugged into a transformer that would keep it charged. I had 2 batteries and whenever I went north to those lakes, I'd simply swap out the fully charged security battery for the other. It would last me 3-4 days on the water and when it was time to go north again, I'd simply swap them out of the security system again. The batteries were always fully charged.
