  3. Like I said, it was Rickles, he banged Carson's cigarette box on our board...he broke it! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iT-FV_sasw&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iT-FV_sasw&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iT-FV_sasw&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
  4. Yeah, you're certified Gerritt. That all looks great! What's the glaze, Gerritt?
  5. No, G8 is not earth shattering.
  6. It might be a good time to hug your Bud as well, Dan. Lew, I'm sorry to hear of Diane's mother. I humbly offer my condolences.
  7. I second that! We have enough right now to make one fantastic coffee table edition.
  8. What he said. You can probably get away with that on small blades such as Panther Martin does. And BTW, the plural of clevis is clevises. I know this because it's in the dictionary just after cleavage/cleavages.
  9. I hear ya Cookslav. I usually make it a couple of times a year. I always make lots for large gatherings but there's never any leftover. 4-5 days you say then 3 more days in maple syrup??? I only marinate mine for 48 hours or so in sugar, salt, cracked pepper (lots) and bunches of fresh dill some lemon slices and very little cognac.
  10. BAHHHHH You guys get all the good company.
  11. What I wanna know is who's the nut who'll be checking Dave's stomach contents. Dave, I have a feeling you've done that before. You took him head first, just like a pro.
  12. Great report Pete! Some respectable fish in there. I have a feeling that your act of kindness towards Will and his piano on Sunday came back to you in the form of a 45.5" muskie on the Monday. Good stuff.
  13. Gee, that sounds like an invitation to me.... THREE more sleeps.
  14. Might have been trying to cough up a five of diamonds.
  15. Thanks guys but I'm not the hero. I'm the messenger....DON'T SHOOT!
  16. We're back online. Thanks for your patience.
  17. Yeah I saw Lloyd's in action....works great!
  18. There are no set rules for camping.....just be there....we'll fix it. Looking forward to meeting you.
  19. It appears as though you're on team#2 and Art is on team #10
  20. Which tourney, Joe? The online tourney? If it's the Lakair tourney, it's automatic.
  21. Hush, Wayne. '46 was a dang good year.
  22. Fine year for me so far....oops, may have just jinxed myself. Here on the Larry they're taking crankbaits in 12' to 17' FOW.
  23. Nice find by your Mom, John. I had one of those boxes in the early 60's when I dabbled in fly fishing. Without them being a craze, they were certainly a popular model fly box. I don't think it's a Wheatly as most of their products had the company name stamped into the outside metal covers. I would suspect that the box and flies would fetch $150 or so. And while I'm a very long way from being an expert, the pictured fly appears to be a variation of the very popular Jock Scott. You might be interested in clicking on the link below to see if there are any match-ups with your fly box. http://www.vintagefi...accessories.htm Someone more knowledgeable will surely chime in.
  24. Good stuff, Instructor! Some people get to be wizards at telling other people how to fish. Unfortunately for them, they usually remain "consultants" and never really get out themselves. Don't worry about it. Go catch another, then another, then....well, you know how it goes. But they're right about the blue seat.
  25. You might want to stick one of those patches on your avatar eh? I've been spraying Listerine and WD-40 on it for the last 3 weeks and it's STILL there!
