  1. Wow....really beautiful fish, guys! Fantastic report. Will, you're sharing Lew's sunrise?
  2. Geoff, it looks good to me except that I find it on the pricey side. The reason they say it reduces line twist is only because it's a direct line feed like a baitcaster and not a spinning reel. I just looked at it again.....it's not pricey, it's dang expensive for what it is. But I'm sure it'll sell.
  3. That's a great looking rig, congrats. That's the same motor as mine and it runs smoooooth.......
  4. Great clip. There should be some fat muskies under there now and even fatter carp.
  5. Woodsman beat me to it.
  6. If you don't need a hiding place for your cash, this is the proper way to look after your suit....not only your brand, all brands. Wash the suit with a mild detergent and hang to dry. Do NOT have dry cleaned, do NOT use bleach and NEVER put it in a drier. Only put the suit away once it has dried completely else you will find mildew stains on it. That's it, that's all.
  7. Leave it alone. It'll float better if you don't touch it. In the meantime, it appears you've found the ideal place to hide your spending money.
  8. Here's what I have: A fiery tractor-trailer collision is creating traffic chaos for people who use Canada's busiest highway. Ontario Provincial Police have closed a stretch of Highway 401's eastbound lanes in Oshawa after a tractor-trailer crashed and caught fire early Tuesday morning. Police said the lanes are expected to be closed between Stevenson and Ritson roads until 11:30 a.m. to allow engineers to inspect a bridge and the road to assess the damage and determine if any repairs are required. OPP said the fiery crash occurred under the Simcoe Street overpass at about 1:40 a.m. No injuries were reported. Police said the tractor-trailer wasn't carrying any hazardous goods.
  9. First of all, 5.0:1 is not high speed.. And that reel kinda puts to rest the "the more ball bearings, the better the reel" theory eh? 10. You pay for the ticket and you go take your place in the theater. No need to be worried. Those dudes are all hired actors whose day jobs include hairdressing and designing floral arrangements (not that there's anything wrong with that). They're not going to beat you up. The worst that can happen is that you leave there with spiffy new hairdo and a gardenia in your boutonniere. Enjoy the picture.
  11. You can can them without pickling them.
  12. Beautiful....a really rare kind of a report. Can't wait to see the video! Thanks.
  13. Fantastic, Aaron. I think browns are one of the purdiest fish in the world. Thanks a lot for sharing.
  14. A coupla beauties there for sure, Darren. I'm sure you had a great time.
  15. Parkway Convention Center....it's in Billy Bob's post.
  16. Dang, none of them are easy guesses, Roger. We (I) could be way off. It's not terribly fat for this time of the year either but I'll go between 45" and 47". A great ending to your season. Congrats.
  17. I don't think there is anyone here except Moosebunk and perhaps a very few others who have the knowledge and the life experience to discuss this situation intelligently, and that's what this needs. Reading articles such as what Eric posted help a lot but judgment calls can't be made based on a five minute read when there's many centuries of history to be aware of.
  18. Google searches say that a green light that's constantly on with the amber/orange light flashing is a bad connection. This is how they put it. Explanation 1: Bad connection. Test: Move the clamps and make sure there is no loose connection in the quick connector. Explanation 2: The charger is working in the desulphation phase. Test: Leave the charger to charge for 24h (with some supervision). If the charger does not start charging (one of the LED’s are lit) within 24h the battery is in a very poor condition.
  19. Does this mean you won't be back if you don't find it?
  20. I watch the Teletubbies. But hey, thank you.
  21. Good morning Scott. Congrats on the great boat. You're going to have a heck of a good time with that bomb for sure! As for your safety requirements, everything is quite straightforward. Just print off the link here and go shopping for what you don't have. This is all explained in the booklet called "Safe Boating Guide" (TP 511E). Here's the link to the safety items page that concerns you. http://www.tc.gc.ca/...less6m-1791.htm Have a great time. ps. The booklet is available at Transport Canada offices or even at any OPP detachment.

    Fish I.D.?
