  1. Gezzz Chris, the first picture when I looked at it I though it was Spiel, Spiel looked like that when he had hair and was younger. Friends are the best and fish are a bonus. Thanks for sharing a life story.
  2. Can I dream a PB Speckle like those in the pictures? I keep telling myself
  3. Thanks everyone, wish all you could have joined us, we had lots of laughs and good times. Like Super Dave and Bunk said, fishing was tuff finding the big girls. One off our buddy's Roy wanted to take a few home, so we kept a few of the jigging fish for him. Those big ones, I wouldn't want to eat (glow-in-the-dark) If you look closely at the big one on the chain, it has a tumor on the gill plate. The wind at home now is brutal Joey, I can imagine the waves down there, The water was flat for our 5 days. Thats why we stayed, don't see it like that to much down there.
  4. Weather and water conditions were so good we had to stay another day, 5 days total. 6 guys, 2 guys had to go home after 3 days because they still work. The other old retired guys HAD to stay. Caught fish not many, but quality. Tried the jigging thing off Thompson's, if you want 6 to 12" eaters, you can fill your boat. We caught our fish just east of the Ferry, south side. Marked lots of bait down 20 to 40ft. Most fish came on Stretch 20 and TD11 Tail-dancers, on different colors. 150 to 200 back on in-lines and strait of the back flat-lining. Biggest was 14lb. my other bud caught. All fish were released except 1 floater, other buddy tried to revive on his stringer with no success. Other buddy was so excited about his PB big fish, he kept on the stringer to show us, had trouble reviving it, but after working on it, did swim away. other bud that was with me couple of mine My biggest 32"
  5. After the stabilizer, pull the plugs and squirt 2 stroke oil in the cylinders and turn over the motor with the kill cord pulled then put the plugs back in.
  6. 10-20 a night, "wholly crap" Fill me in on your secret. I just want to catch 1, but a big one You must live near there Mike. 18 Lb'er, I can't even dream one that big Roy I've been going to Quinte since a kid and I haven't beat my 11. As I say this week it's going to happen I've had buds in MY boat that have caught 14's
  7. I'll post when I get back Mike with pictures, if I get fish I'm looking for the big mama for just a picture and she's back to swim another day. We just look for a big length & girth entree for the club. Then the get-together at night

  18. If that was the case, parking in the lot that belongs to the old Tip of The Bay building. That has nothing to do with the ramp parking lot or street.

  22. I lost a big Sheephead the other day, checked my line, low and behold, a nick in my line. I think Spiel had something to do with the loss.
  23. I've heard that those ice bungalows can be a bad thing Gerrit, confined for 2to3 days in a shack can be a little house bound. Mite turn your friend off of ice fishing. Maybe do day trips and stay in town so you enjoy a little night life thing and stretch the legs if you know what I'm saying. Just a suggestion.
  24. Is it a provincial ticket, maybe just throw in the garbage. I'd be ticked off also. Thanks for the heads up
