  1. Never understood the relevance of Epost - my bills come on-line or via mail and are paid on-line. Why do I need Epost as a middleman? Just a way for Canada Post to reinvent themselves with email and online communities eating into their lunch...
  2. Barbed vs. barbless depends on my intentions. If I'm keeping then I'll use barbed. If I'm C&R OR the fishing action is hot, I'll go barbless.
  3. A beauty Frenchman's Bay Pike. Based on your description he should be okay.
  4. Follow your own internal compass. If you don't your chances for success could be diminished. If you really want to guide, then guide. If you know that you'll have trouble going back to school after being out and earning - then perhaps schooling should take precedence. It comes down to knowing yourself - the answer is within you.
  5. Fantastic report. Good on you for finding and working a new spot.
  6. Another Berkley "Easy-Clip" user. I haven't got the patience or young eyes to retie constantly They are a bit pricey but I'd likely buy them again.
  7. I buy them for the trays and put the bag to another use - like housing my portable fish finder.
  8. Nice report and pictures. what the heck!
  9. I think you might be surprised at what a "pond" that size might hold. This environment is made for hauling the canoe in. Good luck in your hunt and don't tell anyone when you find the perfect bass hole.
  10. The beauty of the web is that it is easy to "look under the covers" to see what others have done. Select "view" "page source" whenever you see a web page that contains an element that you'd like to mimic. All the HTML is there for the taking.
  11. Try anything from Jon Krakauer - I personally enjoyed Into The Wild and Into Thin Air.
  12. Hi Victor, Nearby Shebeshekong Lake is supposed to have all the species you are looking for but I don't know about actual launch locations. Anglers Atlas has this lake - you may want to check out the level of detail. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Barn
  13. Coleman 15.5 canoe - access to many others although none as light as I would like!
  14. That just about covers it Terry - thanks for checking.
  15. For which model(s)? Would be a shame for someone on dial-up to find out at the end of the d/load that it's not for him...
  16. You can fashion up your own in less time than it takes to pick-up the phone and order. Don't know if it actually works but hard to imagine anyone would need to "buy" one.
  17. Been using the Tournament Series from Walker without incident for several years. Bad production run perhaps or just really bad luck??
  18. Cute kid for sure! But no shots of the evil MIL?? Great report.
  19. How can McTeague make these statements? Was he there?? It's one thing to defend a fellow Canadian (if you believe these boys are) but it shouldn't be BLINDLY done. I thought McTeague was on the public trough to monitor gas prices. Does he really have an official position?
  20. You might want to consider hooking up with a like-minded board member willing to show you the ropes. Failing that a few hooks and some worms should get you started. Good luck.
