  1. It a bad time of year to send it in. But i just bought my second curado and was talking with the shimano rep. He informed me you can send you reels to shimano in peterborough, they will go through the entire reel for around $20. I will be sending mine in next winter.
  2. Oil is cheap insurance. I change my outboards every 50 hours or so. My truck gets changed every 5000km even though i use full synthetic in every thing and quality filters. I put the same castrol 10w30 in every four stoke i own. It goes on sale at CT at least twice a year and i will buy 15 liters at a time.
  3. I always use a socket wrench with the proper sized bit. I really enables to get alot of forward pressure on it so it doesn't skip. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/6/Tools/Sockets/IndividualDriveSockets/PRDOVR~0587371P/0587371P.jsp?locale=en
  4. Just bought one at bass pro. 6'6" med. It is a little stiff but should suit my needs. Now just need some soft water, hopefully next weekend!!!
  5. It could be the shower or the toilet. not sure if your buddy is a plumber or not, If he doesn't resolve the issue let me know
  6. I am a plumber if you still need some one pm. your problem is probably the ballcock in one of your toilets as aplumma mentioned. It is most likely not a pressure regulator as most places in the city run fairly low pressure.
  7. purk's is closed for the winter. If you take hwy 11 go to elwood eps just past weber's (big yellow bridge). It used to be called pete's bait shop
  8. Silicone grease is safe to use in a potable water system. Who ever told it is normal to fix a faucet every year is a moron. Fishinfool is correct home depot does not sell the same quality as a plumbing wholesaler. Thats why your best to hire a plumber and not spend 20 on a peice of junk glacier bay faucet from home depot that will break in 6 months
  9. You forgot the most important step. You have to use the little plastic peice that comes with the new cartridge ( Cartridge removal tool ) to turn the cartridge before trying to pull it out
  10. You guys are doing something wrong if You have to replace delta springs and washers or can't take a moen after a year, I have taken 40 year old moens with brass cartridges apart. As for the delta check to make sure the bottom of the cartridge is smooth and grease the springs and washers when going in.
  11. The biggest bass I have ever caught was a 7.5 lb last fall in about 8" of water. I could not belive how big this thing was, for sure no 6 lb average lakes around here. Maybe you could find a lake like that down south where they are active all year but still not likely.
  12. You only live once and if you don't go you will always regrets it
  13. I bought a new 14 ft jon boat in the spring. Went in guy took 10 mins to walk outside show me a $800 boat which has to be on there low end. I paid for it, went home unloaded a the crap in my pick up. Went back he unlocked helped load, on my way.
  14. Don't you need a new boat ? If so the trip is worth it
