Sweeeeet!! That is one nice Bow, Congratulations!! Almost had to reach for the drool cloth lol Thank you for sharing your day and for reminding me just how much I miss steelhead! Congrats to Claude, also a very beautiful fish!
Hello Grant...
Haven't used that many different brands of rods but of the ones I have tried while walleye fishing, my favorite was my fenwick 7ft medium (HMXS 70L) one piece. I would concur with the members that have recommended a one piece, 2 pieces just do not have the same backbone.
Sweet Alex! One of these days I am going to join you for some surf fishing! Glad to see that your Canadian version of the red devil is still working for you
Another great Camp Jiggy Jiggy report....really enjoy reading the updates!
Happy Belated Anniversay! 18 years.....Well Done!
Happy Belated Birthday Avery!
Congrats to Grandmother for the very nice walleye!
I am wondering the same thing about that diver GCD......really hoping to get a chance to find out......oh and one can never catch enough big wall-ices!
Hoping you can make it also......be nice to see ya again..with or without the shirt! lol
LOL Brian..thanks!!! Was beginning to feel left out and unwanted ...hmm..maybe there is a reason for that LOL
Things look good for Cliff and I, he was going to start looking into booking something today....
Sorry Roy, there was no fishing for me this past weekend. Spent the weekend driving to and from Michigan to pick up my daughter and then there was the last minute unplanned trip to Gander Mountain to buy replacements for some of my fishing equipment that was stolen while I was away. Difficult to fish when the little turds get your rods and reels.
Good to hear that you are able to log in again We have been using Trend Micro PC-Cillin for the past few years and have been very happy with it. *Note.....we only use the antivirus, I find that like most companies, the spyware stuff just hogs the machine resources.
"all the way back to Toronto we kept repeating to ourselves "hate that lake", "hate that boat", "hate those weeds", "never going back"."
I have often muttered similar statements all the way home from that lake....
Loved the report and congratulations on your success!
Close, the cameraman has his back to the causeway in that picture but I think I saw the island that you are referring to....thanks for the tip! If we are able to get back up there will have to try it out...oh and thanks for the tip on the Berkley bait!!!
Just wait until you break the 20lb mark and it comes flying out of the water like a trout/salmon!! People laugh but they sure can be fun!
Nice report guys! Everyone I have met that ties their own hoar rigs, tie them differently..even Cliff and I do, just keep at 'em until you find what works for you!!!
bly
Congrats Bitsmith2k!!!
Lew, Have a great time, look forward to reading your report!!
Ccmt, Sydney and I are going with friends to their trailer this weekend, on Chemong lake I think. Hope to get in at least a little fishing
I will agree that they are ugly but I can think of a few other "shoe fads" that IMHO were worse.....does anyone remember the "jelly shoes" in the 1980's??
To me, the funny thing about crocs........5 years ago I bought a pair of "gardening shoes" from Canadian Tire for 12.99 wore them out of the garden/house a few times and everyone teased me.....one person (complete stranger) even made a snide comment about how his mother only wore those sort of shoes gardening. Now they are a hot fashion fad called Crocs! Go figure lol
