  1. Fill the holes with propane , run an extention cord with a stripped end and crossed wires down the hole , stand back 50' and plug it in ... dead voles and a free Koi pond .
  2. I can see the logic , as a guide / dock attendant at Chaudiere Lodge for some years (early 90's) , I've had my share of unintentional plunges. One in particular comes to mind , I was moving Cedar Strips around all morning (20) getting things ready for guests arriving at 2pm , a guest from the previous week had hit a rock and cracked the casing on a 20 Yamaha, I brought the boat to dock and took off the motor , stood up and swung the motor onto the dock , I had forgot to tie up the Cedar The Cedar went out from under me and I stepped into 4' of water , soon to find a 20Hp Yamaha hitting me in the head and knocking me out , falling on my legs and pinning me underwater against a dock pillar , luckily a staff member was there to drag me out ... had I had a PFD maybe things would've been different... either way, I'm glad Dave was there.

  5. Seems like a lot of US folk do go sledding with guns , I probably would ... but there's a video out there of a moose getting blown away for doing the same thing

  8. Rear disc or drum ? Often the e-break shoes( rear disc ) fall apart and make noise especially in reverse , common on the f150
  9. Yep , that's how we roll here in Sturgeon eh ..
  10. I administer meds everyday , there's the 3 Rs when dispensing an Rx , Right med , Right person , Right way ( IM , Per Os , SL ) etc ... who ever you met at the counter didn't do their job ... I'm glad for you that it didn't adversely affect your spouse's health ... I have horror stories to tell about med errors . Who to tell ... Who do you tell ? It's been a question of our for years .
  11. I'll take you up on some of that shine though Art .
  12. Coors Light = training beer it's like having sex in a canoe, it's @#*@'n near water.
  13. go see Eric at ASM , they usually have the KVF 360 4x4 or the Cat 400 4x4 on sale every spring for about 4200.00$...
  14. I have a few angles , but have never owned one. A) From behind the parts counter ; for the limited amount of Ravs we have here in Sturgeon , I'll bet that I've seen everyone of them , from ball joints to wheel bearings and terrible brakes and exhaust, and a lot of parts can't be had in the aftermarket , Altrom or Beck Arnley ( Import aftermarket suppliers ) don't even service them , but ... like most Toyotas the powertrain is pretty darned near bulletproof ( except the iForce 5.7)...but ( I can't believe I'm gonna say this ) for every Rav4 , I've seen 5x more, Compasses,Torrents, Vitaras, Escapes , Tributes, CRVs, Rios and XTrails.. 2) My friend has one ( his wife ) we ( him and I) take it occasionally to go down to Toronto, not so good on gas as we thought , probably 30$ difference between the Rav and my Expedition , It's sorta capable off road , but is very light and wobbly in a crosswind and oncoming big rigs... they've had most of the problems listed above , and some rust issues ... they've never touched the drivetrain and at just about 350,000K doesn't burn a drop of oil. I personally would go a little bigger ....
