  1. That sounds too good to be true .. but it could be . A friend of mine has a 24' Tri-toon and also has a 300 on the back , it'll do 65+ mph , has all the anemeties of a house boat ( almost ) .... I'd buy one if I could .
  2. There's a very healthy population on Nipissing / French River , quite common up here and farther north. .
  3. I wish you guys could see my " Food & Drink " album on Facebook .... Manitou , that looks great ! LOA , learn how to cook , start by using fire
  4. Yes , Chain Pickerel , Grass Pickerel .... they look like a small pike , none here , it's about the only Ontario fish I've never caught. .
  5. Pickerel not Walleye ....
  6. Some people fish for meat , I understand the frustration , but until they're illegal to keep , they're legal to keep .
  7. I'd like to catch a Pickerel , I've never caught a Pickerel .
  8. Inconnu.Arrow Lakes at the mouth of the ( Fish) Incompalleux River in Beaton BC , I had no clue what I was catching , most in the 20lb range is my guess .
  9. Poor mans patent is still legal I beleive , mail the original everything back to yourself and don't open the package .. Don't go to ISC , invention submission corporation , they've stolen from me before , I had absolutely no proof , that's when I was advised of the PMP . This was in the late 80's . Good luck ! RFS
  10. 2 years and 60k+ ago I got some Sailun Terramax AT installed on the Expedition and they're almost like new still , lots of ban for the buck right there .. They've seen snow , slush , mud , rock and mikes upon miles of gravel roads... I'm really impressed . They're worth looking into .
  11. we seen a cow and 2 calves a few years ago right by " big bend " acres , where there's a horse statue on a pedestal in a pond , that's south of Orillia right ?
  12. Great report !! Italo is a pretty nice guy , I had the opportunity to guide him out of Chaudiere in 1996..
  13. Gramp's opens at 8 AM , Dan will have what you need , also a very decent selection of tackle , stopping there will keep you on time for your 10am Mowatts Landing arrival.
  14. I'm actually looking for 76-79 f-150 xcab short bx , IMO best truck ever built had one for 10 yrs , found one for 6k has a 400 4 spd and does 17mpg weather you're towing a bulldozer or a utility trailer , it's actually a tractor in disguise , my current 99 Expedition EB has 459,000k and still runs like a top , but the bugs are coming out of hibernation . Although a Ford guy , I've opened myself to other options , and after being behind a parts counter for a long time , I know full well that nobody will ever win the Ford , Dodge , Chevy argument ( cars or trucks ) , I've driven a whole bunch lately and will be sticking to a Ford branded ride , more than likely another Expedition or a reasonably priced Raptor .
  15. Water color is very tannin stained , Walleye and Pike are everywhere , from 2' to 35' , average depth we caught them in was 8-12' , my friends went up last weekend and caught over 400 .. any pattern will work , it's a no brainer lake .. although the big Pike are sparse , there are nice Perch in the river .... North End of the lake / River is easily accessible by car , but you will need a truck to launch the boat .
  16. Right on !!
  17. There are a whole lot in Nipissing , I know of at least 5x 55+ and about 6 above 49 in the past few weeks ,even a rumored 59.5x28 about 2 weeks ago . There once was a 61 1/2 hanging above the mantle at Chaudière ... Who knows , maybe the next one will be a Walleye fishin' fluke from the BOQ? Either way , these fish are far from the official WR.
  18. Bike pedals and a prop.
  19. Nipissing / upper French River or the Larry.
  20. I like the Kershaw , blade trader ,I have many knives of all kinds , but it's very handy and razor sharp . I love it , very tough for the price . http://www2.knifecenter.com/item/KS1095SBT/Kershaw-1095SBT-Sportsmans-Blade-Trader

  22. Eh guys , I seen the moose video , Stephanie my neighbor (the charged )showed it to me the next morning , it was on YT for a few months, in no way was it being chased , just followed at it's own pace ,it just happened to see a clearing and stepped off the bridge , what the article doesn't say that they were cleared on the scene of doing anything wrong , and the driver voluntarily gave up his cow tag in exchange for the bull meat ,then the MNR acted on complaints from viewers then the charges were laid ...
