  1. Really enjoyed that Wayne.
  2. Skeet and Ike are two of my favorites. Ike can be crazy on camera and lose his cool every so often but he's pretty intense on the water. I followed him on the water on the second day of the Classic in 2005 in Pittsburgh. He gets dialed in and there's no real goofiness unless he get catches a fish. I really enjoyed watching him. He also knows how to get the fans into the action. He had the Civic Arena fired up (I was in the first row on the floor): As for Skeet, I was glad he won this year. He's had some close calls. He can be crazy too. He yelled every time he caught a fish too and he would breakdance in his boat. He even asked us for crackers and water. Here he is at the weigh in (back in the day when he liked the bleached look):
  3. Sorry bud but I just got back from a week in Florida. My sincerest sympathies to you and your family.
  4. Great job Jaden!
  5. Morality isn't the issue. Getting slapped with a lawsuit is.
  6. As a lawyer, if you were my client, I would advise you to confirm his employment and that's it. Honesty can land you in litigation. Sugar coating your true thoughts can too. I refuse to give references to my former employees, even when they left on their own accord.
  7. Way to go girl! She obviously get the brains from her mom. With her looks, the gun just might come in handy, unless of course it's Dawson who's after her.
  8. Ahh Marc, they question was when you hook a fish. Not when some American "friend" hooks a fish.
  9. Back at ya boss. Sorry I missed you. I'll try you later today.
  10. My son has the Rapala one. He loves it. Can fish anywhere and he's caught 10 muskies in one day.
  11. Sorry Brian, I was at Heinz Field watching the best defense in football make America's Team look pathetic. Ten wins while playing the toughest schedule in football and despite injuries to half the team. Not to mention a bad offense. The Bills suck. They really do. Sorry.
  12. My sincerest sympathies. His life has inspired many.
  13. That's enough. Take it to email or pm from here on in. All further bickering will be deleted.
  14. Happy belated birthday Mr. Happy!
  15. Quit whining and be good. Santa's coming soon.
  16. Way to go. Those are some great fish. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Good stuff.
  18. Twice a year I call it home, at least the truck, which stays there while I fish the French. I have a couple swills each year at TJ's too. God, life is good up there.
  19. Glen, oh Glen. I guess TG wasn't here last night. This one is better. Not much but better.
  20. He deserves one huge congratulations. He made history and ran a fabulous campaign. He's has no excuses. He'll have all the support he'll need in Congress. What scares me is how he conceded last night that he'll need a second term to make a difference. I wonder what would have happened if he spoke those words before he was elected. I voted for him but I am having some anxiety over it. He sure can speak but he hasn't done anything remotely political in his lifetime. He has the biggest stage in the world to make his debut. The best election sign I saw said "Vote and Pray". Didn't mention a candidate. Perhaps the most sensible slogan out there. We need some serious campaign reform here. The money and negativity in this election was both ridiculous and offensive. P.S. I understand Rick wanted this to be a pat on the back to Obama thread. I doubt he really believed it would stay that way. The entire election was contentious and very negative and Obama got about 53% of the popular vote. 47% of the voters didn't vote for the guy. The nature of this thread alone invites debate.
  21. Good Stuff Rich.
  22. Wow, that's good stuff. If I ever argue before him, I'm thinkin' I should wear my OFC gear. Maybe I need to have some OFC ties made. That's a tremendous accomplishment. I have a friend on the 3rd Circuit.
  23. Nice job Wayne. I love it.
  24. Roger, thanks for sharing. You certainly deserve some props for this one. You were part of a magical events. As for Dave Mercer, he gratiously provided some prizes for the OFC Lakair event in June and my 5 year old son (here in the states), loves his show. He has a Dave Mercer autographed hat and a Fact of Fishing shirt that he reveres. It was a true reflection of Dave to provide these materials as well as other items for the G2G. As for BPS, they came up big for the event too. Kudos to all.
  25. My dad's gonna love that one.
